    The GJ Sticker/Swag swap

The last time the box made its way around, it took me several days to dig through everything, put new stuff in, and get it turned around. I just sent my address to anndel ahead of time.

New Carlyle Toolboxes vs HF US General and ICON

There are going to be three levels of the Carlyle boxes. 1500, 2500, and 3500. I haven't seen one in person yet.

    Battery Maintainer

NOCO Genius 2 or 5 would be fine for a maintainer/charger on your cart. Wiring in a quick connector is key! Has to be connected to work, the easier you make it to connect, the easier it is to keep it charged up.

Down to 3 options for new garage tool storage / workbench

I don't know exactly what Ikea pricing looks like these days, but I don't see $2500 worth of Ikea cabinets there. I did an entire 25 liner feet of upper cabinets and the kitchen lowers for about 1200 several years ago. I'm sure the prices have gone up, and there is a lot of hardware on there...

Factory of Safety when buying jack/jack stands?

Go big on jackstands. You are putting your body under them. Spend a couple extra bucks to a couple hundred extra bucks and save your life.

    Recommend a good shop vac

My random musings on ShopVac applications: 1. Use a bag and filter combo. The bag will keep you from plugging up the filter with most of the **** you are vacuuming up. 2. If you are doing woodworking, add a cyclone/dust deputy in front of the vacuum. Easy to change out and you can size the...

Milwaukee Bit Cases - can’t be just me

I like the single or four row silicone bit holders. They grip the bits, but are easy to get out. I throw them in an empty case

Who else collects Snap on ratcheting screwdrivers?

Wow, these are some awesome collections! I have a few, but they are all in heavy use rotation. I do have a Bill Elliott red hard handle that I am pretty fond of, the rest are just boring red and black hard handles. I do need a stubby hard handle though... have to get searching for one.

WorkSharp Ken Onion Edition Knife Sharpener $106.21 at Amazon 08/05/21

The thing that I like about this WorkSharp unit is that it can do small knives. I have always struggled with small knives (paring, small pocket, pen knife) in the clamp style sharpeners (Lansky, Gatco, etc...).

Sunex 3/8" Impact best Master set, complete

Agree. I have a ton a real estate taken up by SAE impacts, and they rarely see any use. If you don't own anything SAE, skip it for now. That M12 stubby is a winner! Great power for price performance. There hasn't been anything reasonable that I've thrown at it that it couldn't handle.

Keeping track of equipment maintenance, a better way?

I really REALLY like Field Notes. The size is perfect for my toolbox, tool bag, back pocket…

If you only had money to buy one set of combo wrenches...

Regular length over stubby if I only get one.

    Milwaukee Power Tools Deal Permathread

I wish there were a few more bare tools to choose from. This is a great promo, but I don't need the saw or the light.

Here's another one, what's your favorite 1/4 ratchet?

I went and checked this out - very similar, but not the same.

My two favorite 1/4" ratchets are both Snap-On - Hard Grip Round Swivel Head - TM737 with an upgraded head from a newer ratchet - THNF72 - Basic Chrome handle - T72 A VERY close third is no longer made - Armstrong 10-992 LOVE that handle.
