my floor definitely does not have the static problem. My guess would be that they are made from some other type of material, I know someone who bought another brand and they ended up warping upwards on the corners after about 6 months.

I have a 4 post lift on top of my floor ( Race Deck) and it works great. I have pulled the motor out of my vette using a Cherry picker and it has held up great.

Try taping a 2'x2' piece of plastic on the floor ( sealed) and come back in 48 hours. If there is moisture then you have a concrete issue. I would recommend a modular floor that allows the concrete to breathe This is why I went with Race Deck.

Personally would go with concrete, it does not track in as much dirt and tar.

I compared both and the Race Deck tiles are definitely beefier than the Costco tiles, though I think the Costco tiles are a great deal. There is a small height difference in the tiles and the top surface of the Race Deck tiles seems to have a smoother finish

Remember to let the floor settle and get to temp before placing heavy objects on it, or it will buckle. The hanging cabinets do work best if that is an option Good luck
