Nice setup, and nice job on the VW...love the windshield! Are you rolling it like that, or is it still a work in progress? I've been tempted to build one like that myself, but I think I'm more apt to find a truck to match the windshield these days.

A lot of it will vary based on your area, type of construction you go with, and how much you do yourself. I built a 30' x 30' stick framed garage, fully finished interior over the past year, and it cost me $25,000 Canadian. Most of that was materials, as I did 99% of the labour.

Yup Yup! :beer: My garage looks a helluva lot better (fancier, well appointed) than if it would have without this site being a bad influence on me.

There are probably a few indicators on the lid to help narrow down it's vintage. Did it still have the spring attached? Pity about the car being so far gone - that's too often the case these days. I'd love to see those photos, but the link doesn't seem to work for me.
