I wore mine at first, but never was much of one for jewelry. After catching it on a hatch combing onboard ship, and feeling the potential for extreme damage, I stopped wearing it. Now I only wear the ring when we're going out and on special occasions.

I seem to recall another board member that jacked the complete garage up, then rebuilt the foundation walls before lowering the structure back down. I think he also used that as an opportunity to gain some extra headroom in there. Check out the older posts in the Garage Gallery, and you may...

You could always rent an engine hoist... Or just re-route the lift to me and I'll take good care of it!
