    my 20x20 metal building

Power to the Air Cooled People!!! ;-) Nice shop - might be too small already, but it's better than working outside... I've got 3 in my 30 x 30, and could fit another 4 in there if I didn't want to move around much.

Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT I'd love to have a shop that looked like this.

Very nice execution of a great idea! I've been watching this one since you first suggested doing it and I'm loving what I'm seeing. I'm almost tempted to tear mine down and start again... ...almost... Wife would kill me if I even suggested it!

Look closer and you'll see those flowers serve a vital function...

Do you wear your wedding band?

I wore mine at first, but never was much of one for jewelry. After catching it on a hatch combing onboard ship, and feeling the potential for extreme damage, I stopped wearing it. Now I only wear the ring when we're going out and on special occasions.

    My DIY garage build, 26x28

That's how he gets nice grass right up to the new build. Sure looks out of place though! Wish I'd had the foresight to do that stuff when I was 25.

    Where Angels Fear To Tread

Dang...all I can say is I hope he appreciates what a great wife he has! Sounds like you've put a lot of thought into what you're doing there, and have one heck of a great start on making it usable for him.

    Gee...with a lot that flat and empty, isn't 35 x 40 a little small? ;-) Looks like a great place for a shop!

    Some fabrication from my shop

If the colour reproduction on my monitor is any indication, that IS a wicked colour. Looking forward to seeing the finished project!

    Replacing Old Slab?

I seem to recall another board member that jacked the complete garage up, then rebuilt the foundation walls before lowering the structure back down. I think he also used that as an opportunity to gain some extra headroom in there. Check out the older posts in the Garage Gallery, and you may...

How would 1 person assemble a 4 post lift?

You could always rent an engine hoist... Or just re-route the lift to me and I'll take good care of it!

    Attached Garage Build

Here I go again...you'd think I would have learned after building the detached garage, but I guess I'm just a glutton for punishment! Hitting up the house renovations now, which includes a rear addition for a new masterbedroom with ensuite bathroom and big closet. In the front, the old carport...

    O for six

Or, he could be talking about the same thing I'm planning - pour foundation walls, backfill, pour floor slab, then start framing...

A Strange project at Strange Days.

Quite simply, I'm in awe. Thanks for sharing those with us! What I wouldn't give to have something like Mr. Gasser and his '57 gracing my garage...

My little pile of tools and the space I put them in.

Nicely done...picking a few ideas out of there! Now I have to see if I can find all the parts from that old audio-visual cart I brought home a couple years ago...it would make an ideal base for a tool cart like yours.

    750.00 garage

I'm definitely interested in seeing your cabinet plans as well - they look excellent. I've been given cabinets from three different kitchens, and naturally I have three different styles of cabinets going (beggars can't be choosers). It would be great to build matching cabinets to the actual...
