first off, thanks to everyone for the help... As far as repair vs. replace, Im on the fence... It was my father in law's who recently passed, and so there is a bit of sentimental feelings about replacing, however new tools are good too.... And I have plenty of other tools to remember him...

All- I inherited some tools recently, one of which was a snap on 3/8 flex head ratchet which I was intending to use as a primary flex ratchet replacing my craftsman one. However... The Snap on's flex is 'floppy'... the head just flops around, so much so, that I dont know that it would be...

I'll try to snap some pics this weekend... The Tyvek was $60 for a 3ft x 165ft roll. Plus staples (cheap) and then I bought Tyvek tape which was $11 for a 165ft roll (expensive)... but in hindsight, Im fairly confident its just 'pretty' packaging tape.. so if I need more, I'll probably go...

although I guess you might be able to spray it through the grate if it isnt removable.

for under $5 you can get "frosting" spraypaint. Still lets a ton of light in, but cant bee seen through.. usually used for bathrooms... You would have to remove the grate first, spray, then reapply the grate... but but better suited than mini-blinds or curtains that will hold onto dust, dirt...

I could have sworn that someone made mid-depth sockets. but now that I go to look for them, I cant find anyone making them. Im looking for Metric... anybody have any suggestions? TIA!

Not sure what you mean by stencil, but I work for a Sport compact distributor and I have a ton of company logos.. tell me what you want and I can get them. (if I have them)

Just to clarify, while the weight of drywall is a slight concern, the convenience and cost are the main reasons I am considering this... Im fairly confident that the structure 'could' handle the added weight of drywall, I would prefer to hang something else... (tired of drywalling)
