    Electricians Tape

Super 33+ is a great all around tape for splicing and insulating - it's the tape we sell the most rolls of - it's .007 thick. Super 88 is slightly thicker at .0085 and suited for harsh conditions - i.e. cold weather adhesion. Temflex 1700 is the economy tape that contractors buy when they know...

School me on 220 volt vs. 230 vs. 240

208v is generally found on 3 phase services which is used mostly for industrial and commercial applications. The system is identified as 3phase/4wire 120/208v. There would be 4 incoming conductors, 3 hot legs and a neutral. This system can also be used in multi family dwellings, i.e...

    Electric Heat Disconnect

There is no such thing as a 4 pole breaker for a residential panel. I have been in the electrical supply business for 30+ years and a Square D distributor far longer than that. They do not make a handle tie for 2-2pole breakers either. If you refer to the diagram that comes with this unit...

Shopping for lift - decided on Bendpak - Jeff?

I'm lucky that I am able to have it delivered to work where we have a loading dock and forklift - I can then unpack it and bring it home in the company box truck which has a power tailgate.

I'll post photo's when the space is done - I have an oversize 2 car garage with 12-1/2' ceilings - its about 26 or 27' wide by about 26' deep. I currently squeeze 3 collector cars in it, so I need room for the family car as well as room around the cars to work on them. Tim
