    Just finished putting a galvanized metal roof on the garden tool shed. Critters living in the roof area under the house overhang had torn up the old composite roof material and created a leak. Also added a wire shield to stop the critters.

    Moved in the 1/2 in plywood to build replacement doors for the Rotary Clubs little neighborhood library cabinets. Someone stole the original doors. Keeping them in good shape and filled with books is a regular weekly project.

    I have 4 young adult grand kids. They have differently changed our lives. I have breakfast at 6am every Thursday morning with my 22 year old grandson before he goes to work. Sharing their lives is a blessing.

    Love the Kennedy Box. I have the same box I got as surplus sale from the closure of a local AFB. My only regret is they didn't have a couple more at the sale.

    Not sure. My place is surrounded by concrete walkways so most of the projects just require that I get reasonably close so I'm not walking back and forth to the shop. Time will tell.

    Picked up a white single drawer cart to use as a landscape tool box for the irrigation supplies. My bride decided it would be less cumbersome if we used a cart rather than trying to convert a shopping cart basket. Now I just need to figure our how to integrate it into my own tools.     Made seven more 11 inch skateboards for the kids camp decorations. Miniatures are really fun to do, but time consuming.

    Nearing completion on the restoration my 14" Delta Band saw. I was able to install the new 1HP motor, new wring and electrical safety switch. It used to have a toggle wall switch and plate. Need a new drive belt and It's ready to go.

    Oh, I am very happy with the overall stash of good tools they included. My daughter is a jewelry hobbyist and she has already set dibs on the jewelers bench and tools. The lathe come with a full set of micro chucks, and cutting tools.

    Setting up a temporary base to evaluate a jewelers lathe that came with a jewelers bench I bought at an estate sale. It also included a large selection of watch makers parts.

    Woodworking 101--Tools and Tips

    I have to agree with using MDF or plywood however melamine is a good shelving if I do not want a specific paint color for my finish. I have been using my biscuit cutter and beechwood biscuits and glue for several years and find they make strong well aligned joints for my cabinet projects.

    Cleaned and polished the headlight lenses on the f250. The snow sand mix going up and down the hills this winter really did a job on the lights. Looked like they were sandblasted rather than road ware.
