I would stay away from pea gravel...it won't compact, and always stays "loose". If you really need gravel, and plan on moving a vehicle in and out of the shed, I would suggest 5/8" minus. It compacts well, and vehicle tires don't sink in if left for an extended amount of time. It will work even...

Is 14-2 wire what your 220v compressor instructions recommend? Just asking, because mine required 8-2 w/ground. It's only a 5hp single stage. Instead of running mine in the wall, I just bend conduit to get it to the compressor, hugging the ceiling. If I didn't point it out, you'd never notice...

Let me make sure I read your post correct. Are you saying that there is one copper wire unhooked? Is it a bare copper wire...no plastic coating on it? That's your ground wire....it goes to the green wire in the switch. Scott

Takes 27 days for a full cure...during that time there's alot going on in there...contraction/expansion. I'd bet that most manufacturers would want you to wait for a full cure before applying anything to seal it with epoxy. Curing compound can be sprayed on after finishing...but that's something...

Hmmm...not sure what the 6f stands for...I'm sure different states have different terms for the same thing. Generally, road bases are built with 1/2" aggregate, and capped with 3/8" aggregrate mix. I'm sure your local asphalt plant can tell you what they recommend for your application though...

I do mine every year...run one zone at a time...but don't run air for too long. Especially if you have PVC...the air gets really hot, and can ruin joints, or even cause melt down. I also remove my backflow valve and bring it in for the winter...those sucka's are expensive to replace. Scott

This question is for the guys that have used the painted on flooring. What did the manufactuer recommend? A smooth finish or a light broomed finish prior to applying the flooring material? This is going onto a new floor, and I'll be laying down a vapor-barrier beneath. Thanks in advance!! Scott

When I form concrete, I set the forms to just "break the bubble" sloping away from the house. To prevent any water collecting or pooling near the footings of the house. It doesn't require alot of slope to get water to flow...not the kind that is even noticable unless you put the level on it...
