    The Mews Garage, England

Andy, I'm guessing it maybe the same, Hormann, although a German company, do sell worldwide, including in Asia. I did get a quote about 2 years ago for the door, but baulked at the price. I should have gone for it then, as it had increased around 18% since then. Early bird and all that...

    The Mews Garage, England

New Garage Door Well, it's been quite a while since the last update. But today we are talking about garage doors. My garage doors to be precise. I had wanted to keep a traditional look to the garage, and the coach doors certainly looked correct, but the maintenance, and the issues with these...

    The Mews Garage, England

Oh I forgot to mention, my dad got me a small compressor for my birthday, and had previously got me a air hose reel. After a bit of fettling, I got this all fixed up, I won't use it for tools, just tyre pressure top-ups, it's nice to be able to do this from home now! No pic of the compressor...

Brachunky - no problem - only one condition, pics please when it's done! OK, so it's been a LONG time since my last update - apologises - but the Garage had got to the stage where it all worked, so things had slowed. However I had discovered that the shelves for all the cleaning items were...

    Successful off grid lighting?

Fully understanding the UK 'lock up garage' a few streets away situation and the fact that getting mains power in there is not probably practical I do agree that a limited solar system would be a good option to prevent lugging the battery back and forth, or running a noisy genset in a small...

    My 15x22 Garage From ENGLAND....

Great job!!! Looking superb! I chose the same jack - I wanted a red one as well!! It's a super bit of kit, a couple of pushes and the cars up, and I really like the twist to release feature, my old jack had that pesky separate key thing. Great work!

    The cheap garage.

Same - work taking me away - so no massive progress, the 'To-DO' list seems to get two items added on every time I cross one off! You are definitely on the home straight now - and I really like the look of those LED tubes - although I'd need 6, and at 32 quid each that would certainly make my...

    The Mews Garage, England

Ollie, that's a great idea, I'll look out for a suitable wall bracket. Sadly I have not yet boxed in the shelves or built the soffit storage, but I have managed to try out a few jobs. One was re-french polishing this tray, it had been seriously water damaged. I stripped off the old polish...
