New shed - plywood floor protection

My wife and I laid self-stick Armstrong tiles in a 8x12 shed about 3 weeks ago. The shed is 21 years old with plywood floor and was previously covered in sheet vinyl. No sign of rotting from below. The flooring guy at Menard's recommended using an adhesive also since it was a outside...

    Racedeck / Truelock

I talked to a young lady named Shauna Cameron when I ordered my Free Flow from RaceDeck a little over 8 years ago. She was most helpful and there was a GJ discount. No regrets. CJDave.

    Finishing Attached Garage Interior

Mine was the same bowanna. My wife and I put up batts but at age 63 I did not want to learn drywall installation and finishing. Besides, some of the ceiling drywall seams needed repaired. I hired that out and we painted. CJDave.

    Racedeck Diamond vs FreeFlow

My Free Flow has no underlayment and makes no "click-clack" noise. CJDave.

Thinking of RaceDeck flooring for 2-car garage - how much prep needed and is single color too boring?

I swept and scrubbed my floor with a push broom. I agree that the 1'x1' checkerboard pattern is very busy. I did mine in the 2'x2' style with three colors as can be seen in my avatar. Love it. My Free Flow is almost 8 years old and nothing but compliments. CJDave.

Can I fix my new epoxy floor or does it need to be taken out?

Sorry that this project turned into such a nightmare for you. Once more I am glad I went with Race Deck tiles in my garage. CJDave.

    Racedeck Diamond vs FreeFlow

As has been stated here many times before " match the flooring to your intended use." I love my RaceDeck Free Flow as we get lots of rain and snow here. I also detail my '69 Mach 1 in the garage, in the shade. Works great. I also have removed and re-installed the engine and transmission of the...

    Power Washer Surface Cleaner Attachment

I bought the Generac surface tool to match a Generac gas pressure washer that was a gift. It uses no wheels and has a ring of very stiff bristles around the circumference of the pan. Contains the water well and does a great job. CJDave.

Buy or Build a sturdy workbench/ammo reloading bench?

When I was young my dad, brother and I got into reloading. We used one of those round wooden electrical cable spools that you see roadside when the electric company is stringing new lines. It was about 4' in diameter. We cut part of it off so it set against the basement wall a little nicer. We...

    My RaceDeck flooring project

I do not have any first hand info but the new style nylon or plastic wheels should roll on it in my opinion. The old steel disc style wheels on the very old creepers would not go well in my guesstimation but those were designed for smooth concrete floors. My tool box, engine hoist, engine stand...

    My RaceDeck flooring project

At first glance I would say Free Flow but what activities will take place in the garage? No sweeping with the Free Flow. Just a brush and soapy water in the spring with a hose rinse for me. Love Free Flow after 7 1/2 years of ice, slush, snow, rain, grit and whatever else she drags in. CJDave.

    Tile floor walk-on feel

I don't find my Free Flow tiles objectionable at all to walk barefooted upon. CJDave.
