Do Snap-on dealers collect online sales commission

Why not? They could pay a commission based on the ship-to zip code. I worked for an IR distributor and we received a credit memo once a quarter for any direct purchase on-line sales.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Got my *** kicked by a lower control arm on the 2011 GMC Yukon. I couldn't get that ball joint out of the knuckle. I managed to change out the upper control arm, strut, inner and outer tie rods and the sway bar link. I haven't been defeated much in the last 30-years but I'm done with this joint!

    Table saws-recommendations for a beginner

The Dewalt contractor saw is very good. I have the DW745 which has been superseded by the DWE7491RS. It does everything that I ask it to do, and my uses are very much like yours.

    Bauer high pressure compressors

Nitrogen, helium, argon, SCUBA tanks are but a few uses. Really big high pressure compressors are also used for PET bottle blowing and drilling.

Are usa craftsman tools worth anything?

Check out the eBay prices for USA Craftsman tools: an 8 mm wrench goes for about $12. Yes, the tools are worth something to somebody. The question is do you want to fool with selling stuff on eBay?

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Worked with my 17-year son and did some maintenance on his 2007 Explorer 4.0: Belt tensioner, idler pulley, belt, spark plugs and wires. It fired right up after we were done.

    Rotary screw compressor recommendation

That LZ will be relatively expensive and maintenance intensive. It is for medical and dental air applications. It has a microprocessor controller on it. That's not going to be cheap to replace. Get a price for an overhaul kit to see what you are getting into. The Ingersoll-Rand T30 series are...

    Rotary screw compressor recommendation

I’d urge you to reconsider purchasing a rotary compressor. They like to be run hard. If you don’t run them and get the oil up to the correct operating temperature then you get water in the oil and that’s no good. A one man shop is not likely to use the machine enough to get the benefits of the...

Second Air Compressor or Tank for Relatively Long Distance

It seems like a longer pipe would add significantly more volume to the system but it really doesn’t: 120 gallons = 16 ft3 Volume of 3/4 inch pipe at 100 feet length = 0.3 ft3 / 2.2 gallons Volume of 1 inch pipe at 100 feet length = 0.5 ft3 / 3.7 gallons

Second Air Compressor or Tank for Relatively Long Distance

Install the second compressor/tank near the tire machine. Increase the pressure setting of the running compressor to the point where the tire machine works and no more than that. More pressure means more leaks and artificial demand and cycling of the compressor and that leads to a higher energy...
