Anything uses metric hardware, especially when that hardware is going to find its way onto something that’s originally fractional. I hate all metric…but I especially loathe mixed methods of measurement on one unit.
Example, a bracket or mount that’s going onto a mid 70s Jeep...

While I consider VIM to be, at best, a novelty brand, comparing a US made AJ sourced ratchet to the offshore ICON is hardly relevant. Of course it’s more expensive than the Asian made ratchet.

I’d absolutely agree with this. I can’t really think of a single time I’ve used a ball end hex key and wished it was straight, but I can remember countless times the reverse was true.
I’d much rather know how good a companies initial product is than in how they handle their issues.a good warrant is absolutely amazing…but how little you need it is even better

They make very little. They relabel some decent stuff, but almost all of it can be gotten elsewhere.
That ship has sailed.
All that “Made in the USA” hoo-rah for naught….only to be replaced with just another relabel. I’ll never understand the love for this company.
Nearly every Snap On tool in my box was bought used, most at pawn shops, the rest on Marketplace.
I do just enough business on th truck to stay familiar and in good graces….or I did til my go-to guy gave up his route.
