There are a ton of how-to's on the internet. To be honest the only thing that is SUPER important to THOROUGHLY understand is the safety hazards. Everything else can really be trial and error. If you can't take classes buy a couple welding DVD's or watch the plethora of youtube video available...

Nice catch. I decided to go aluminum because the project was getting HEAVY. Plus I needed an excuse to use my new alumiweld rods (which by the way are awesome) :thumbup:
