Concrete Sealers USA TS210 Install Review

The trouble is that I have a 35 x 60 uninsulated shop and nightime temps are going to 45F now. Is the drying time 5 hours or is it longer ? I think it is too late in the season now https://www.wunderground.com/forecast/us/nc/raleigh

Concrete Sealers USA TS210 Install Review

Thank you for a useful review. I was considering treating my new shop floor with TS210 but I won't be able to keep temperatures over 70F at this time of year. and I won't have those day and night temps until May. Sadly I may have to change plans and go with GhostShield as I want to get the...

Ghostshield 8510 or TS210 For a New Concrete Floor

I am getting very close to treating the machine floated concrete floor in my new 35 x 60 shop. I am considering Ghostshield 4100 densfier and then a coat of 8510. The other option that I am considering is TS210. I have bought the 4100 so I am leaning more that the way but I don't know if the...

New pole barn build, a few questions

I live in North Carolina and I have never seen condensation on the roof or walls of my metal clad pole barn. I think the sun is strong enough to warm the metal and to keep it dry.

Should I Use a Concrete Surface Grinder or Angle Grinder on Garage Porch Slope

With several people you can keep going and you won't have to stop like me. I am getting a pretty smooth finish so you might not have to do any buffing. I don't know if I should protect the ground surface with some cement paint. I see suggestions to wet sand. I tried this but the water wore off...

Should I Use a Concrete Surface Grinder or Angle Grinder on Garage Porch Slope

I am grinding 12 foot x 7 3/4 inch area. I estimate 4 to 5 hours per door but it is hard to be exact as I am old and do 15 minutes and have to rest my back for 15 minutes. I am taking about 3 days per door so far. Also the grinding disk gets the edge ground away and it goes slower and slower...

Should I Use a Concrete Surface Grinder or Angle Grinder on Garage Porch Slope

It is wet in the pictures because I hosed out a lot of dust but some water came in under the other 4 doors last night when we got about 1/2 inch of rain. I was relieved to see that the fifth door with the ground slope didn't appear to leak which was a good result

Should I Use a Concrete Surface Grinder or Angle Grinder on Garage Porch Slope

It rained last night and the good news is that the ground down door porch didn't leak. The other doors did. It looks like concrete grinding is on my agenda for tomorrow. I worked on adding ground rods today and bought some new work boots.

Should I Use a Concrete Surface Grinder or Angle Grinder on Garage Porch Slope

I made some progress and I got the first porch pretty much finished. I dropped about 0.3 inch. I may try to go for a 1/2 inch drop on the next door. I will see how it works when I get some rain.

Thanks..I ordered this and will try my 4 1/2 inch grinder this weekend. If it it isn't enough then I will get a 7 inch grinder but I hope to save the money if I can. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003XXE0RA?tag=atomicindus08-20 I hope this will be aggressive enough.

Should I Use a Concrete Surface Grinder or Angle Grinder on Garage Porch Slope

Yes I am hoping to be able to position fans to blow the worst of the dust away. I will order a 7 inch grinder and grinding disk tomorrow. It will save the expense of a dust vacuuming setup. I have already spent way too much money on this project but I need to keep the building dry.

Thanks for the tip about the wood. Did you grind under the door seal area or stop before that ?
