Thank you. I appreciate the input. As far as the foundation goes, it's a 4 inch slab with 12 inch footers (deeper in some places). I'll add a picture of where the metal "studs" (as I've been calling them) attack to the floor. But the rest of your assessment seems correct and makes sense.

I've asked for the engineering sheet or any other plans on the building several times. They manufacture the buildings in house, and they have directly refused to give me anything on the building.

Yeah, the leaking in the roof, the original contractor came out and fixed. The leaking around the windows, he has refused to fix and blames the windows. I was just tired of dealing with him (it's been several months), and hired this other guy to fix it.

@cgrutt Thanks, that makes a lot of sense. As far as what they put in, the picture that @kinglake is better than any of my pictures. They basically did that, with the J trim, and then put the metal over that. There's nothing else (other than the spray foam on the inside.) I've never seen...

@kinglake You may be correct. I will try to peel back some of the siding, and look at exactly how the J channel was installed. I'll upload pics here whenever I can.

In addition to the windows, when I lightly spray water on the siding where there's a joint (pictured below), the water goes behind the spray insulation, and into the house. (not sure why, but none of my pictures are showing up any more)
