How do you like your Rock Solid flooring so far?

I recall that a few of them were 1 post wonders on the forum and just posted to get in on the deal. I think Rock Solid needs to send them a bill for the product since they didn't hold up their end of the deal.

    What buffer to buy?

Rotary’s and DA's are two different animals. You’re telling someone that probably doesn't have any experience in polishing to buy a rotary, that’s good advice; their hood will be trashed in 20 seconds. As for the PC DA being useless for an average detailer/hobbyist isn't so true. As for the so...

    do you have a safe?

I think all the companies do that, trying to make their safes look better than the rest. I've also seen pics and videos of the "other guy's" safes being busted into with pry bars, sledges, etc, only to see the companies safe that your looking into buying being the top dog. Its all marketing BS.

    Building a workbench with drawers

This... My bench with the casters removed, 4"x4" cross beam 3/8" above the width of the box, 3/4" plywood and 1/8" tempered hard board for the top surface and stands at 39" tall. With the casters would have been 46" tall. 46" tall would have been fine for just straight detail work sitting on a...

    do you have a safe?

Agreed, that HF safe can be broken into using a HF pry bar in under 5 minutes, or a sledge in under 1 :lol_hitti What kind of safe did you buy for $1100 with that kind of fire rating? That kind of rating would be found in safes in the $3000-$4000 range. Mine should be delivered from Liberty the...

    Building a workbench with drawers

Just about finished with mine. I'm with the others, take the casters off the tool box and build it into the work bench. I used the mounting rails from my gladiator cabinets to make the shelves. I was low on plywood, so I made one shelf slide back and forth, I slide it back to store larger items...
