It doesn't include a 1/4" ratchet anyway, so maybe I'll pick up a nice one and see if I can appreciate the difference

I just picked one of these sets up. It seems like in every thread that mentions them, everyone says to replace the ratchets. They're made in the USA, what's the knock on the ratchets?

For the average Joe... What size tool kit would you recommend for general DIY stuff? I'm thinking of the kits that include sockets, wrenches, etc (like below)

The steel legs look pretty solid to me. Especially if three legs are bolted to the solid top and possibly another piece braced to the back.

I'm just about to put together a workbench for the garage I want something about 30" deep, 7' wide, and tall enough to cover a HF 44" box without the casters I'm debating doing a generic 2x4 bench, or just do steel legs and either a solid core door or a couple pieces of plywood for the top...

I like the idea, but I want the large standing cabinet. So, I've basically got room for it and a 6-7' workbench.

I like the idea in theory. But the freezer is staying, just being moved against the wall. That'll give me 10' of space. And I'd also like to be able to roll the tool chest out if necessary.
