Lehman, Archer & Lane - England

I was lazy to search just Lehman Archer into Graces Guide and an ad for the forerunner to your die stock is shown. Interesting is all the thread forms but nothing above 1/2” at that time? Great tooling, I have a few sets myself.

Here is a NOS Delta Drill Tidy from NZ. The paper labels don’t last forever but it prompts me to seek the optional wall bracket.

    Antique Thewlis Thread Plate

Look up on graces guide Thewlis & Griffith for the Warrington connection. I have a small BA Tap & Die set. It features the date of 1918, maybe the 12 refers to 1912?

More than just adjustable wrenches, post up your vintage Crescent tools

Ceeteeco shifter updated family snapshot. Missing the 10” and poses the question if a 15” or larger was produced. Adding a snap of the reverse inch marked side.

Accles and Pollock The ferret Spanner

Time to reawaken this thread, Here’s my Ferret as purchased today, quite a find but without sockets. Never mind though. There are images of ads for these from 1912 to be found on Graces Guide. The hex drive is 5/8”, there are 12 clicks per revolution. Please remind me when SO introduced...

    T Williams Superslim

Adding my group shot reveals 11/16 - 7/8 BS 5/8 - 11/16 BS 3/8 - 7/16 BS 5/16 - 3/8 BS I have no recollection of where, when, who, why, what these were obtained. I regularly pass on ground out jaws, owners markings etc but can say I’ve never seen a busted jaw. It would be an interesting...

    T Williams Superslim

Pure BS. Here is my partial set of what appears to me to be the swansong of Whitworth bathtub Superslims. The same dimensions are repeated on the reverse side. No obscure forging idents as these had to be fresh dies. There should at least a dozen sizes for me to find. Note that for years...

How do you store your electric extension cords?

Coiling cables up got me lots of tangles, so after considering I’m south of the equator, I wind cables down. YMMV
