Advice on welder repair/amphenol plugs/lug crimp tools

Doing some welder repair on a big Miller CP300 MIG machine. Does anyone have the crimping tool (I'll try to attach a screenshot pic) used for crimping large copper lugs on welding cable? I was considering the little hammer jig deal that you hit with a hammer. Or I believe they make crimping...

Advise on building weld/fab table using 1" plate

I have obtained ( basically for free) a 5'x10'x1" piece of plate steel. It is not badly bowed or warped. It currently sits on 6x6 blocks in my driveway, and can be manipulated much easier than I would've guessed via placing shims anywhere between the plate and the 6x6's it resides on. Now...

Help identify this mystery clamp I got

A buddy scored this in a lot of old clamps recently. I never seen one like it. Clamp is stamped "5min Vulcanizer" and has a star/cross shaped pad on the clamp screw. What is this actually used for, and what does it have to do with vulcanizing (rubber use/work? of some type?)

Need info on older Craftsman bench grinders

So I've always heard the term "block" grinder when referring to these older Craftsman bench grinders, but then I recently saw an ebay ad listing that said "pre-block" era Craftsman, yet it looked basically the same as any others I've seen. There was a slight difference in the base/body, but can...
