    Milwaukee Power Tools Deal Permathread

Completely understandable. A guy came to my store to locate a Milwaukee chainsaw. His gas version caused blisters trying to start, then ended up in the yard with multiple 10mm punctures. Say no to carbs#

No love for standard A19 bulbs?

My thought is wise today does not always equal price or value. Going with a low cost and easily replaced bulb is maybe not ideal lighting, but it might be wise. He said the options are limited for him. And putting your eggs in a non replaceable fixture puts future issues on the table. Slap...

    Mat vs creeper

Grabbing what is around is all I have done. But mats are always preferred vs creeper. A fender cover has done a lot for me and my other pad is a square of exercise floor. Neither help me slide much but serve the purpose.

    Making garage hurricane proof

Great work on those. Less doubt during a crunch time situation. I don't know how important this next detail is. The rollers can get ripped from the tracks. An upgrade I read about is to add a second axle bracket inboard to each position and buy double length roller/axle assemblies. I didn't pay...

    2023 Home Depot deals/sales/clearance thread

Saw a M12 heated jacket with battery for $112 in St Charles MO. Large. Gave it a hard look and walked away.

    Phillips heads and cam out

They are like women. Desirable yet fickle to no end. When faced with the choice of Philips or a slotted screw, it's a no brainier. Philips in a hot second and the slotted is pitched to the garbage. Tap-cons have seen the light and are converting to Torx.

    Disappointed in Fastenal

They are going down a slippery slope. Corporate accounts are their bread and butter. During COVID, the storefront was closed and....Made even more money. So board room bean counters see the future, SMH. Current employee FYI

    2023 Lowe's deals/sales/clearance thread

Had been playing the waiting game for a mitre saw. Just ordered this and waiting for confirmation. Price is within 20-30 dollars of their 7 1/2 mitre saw.

    2023 Lowe's deals/sales/clearance thread

I'm waiting for some gun safes to drop price in rural MO. They are left over from Black Friday. Our 'back isle ' just got purged. It doesn't move and was a trash dump.

    Atlas 46 In Leather

The siren song was playing to me. 2 staff members were in my store with product and catalogs. As a vendor I can buy at ** discount. Locally made, my hometown actually and company started with motorcycle history. Damn, how many strings can play at once. I drooled on their stuff hard for a couple...

need easy LED light upgrade for garage/shop

And here we. Throw away society has caught up with electrical fixtures. Rather than unscrewing a bulb, now we yank everything back to hard line and start over. OP, you will be facing the option for a permanent light with "guaranteed not to burn out LED" or a serviceable fixture that can be...

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

The hatchet gets a lot of use. Very effective. But I better not pick up the M18 version in a store. Could be the cute younger sister situation.

    Suggestions on reorganization

My 2 ¢ People naturally attempt to fill wall space. But that is not always optimal. The small corner between the doors could have two rows of freestanding shelves back to back. I have pallet racking and saw the opportunity to hide ladders, bed frames, scrap wood, conduit by freestanding the...

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

To be truthful, only one box....in that order. M12 multi tool started me down the road.

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

I believe it will. It was shipped in the bag, then the outer box. The tapered section of the bag was not used at that point.

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

This kit was selling for 399 at HD and I figured it was old stock being cleared out. No speed settings on them, basic trigger. But I'm a dealer, and checked the production dates on Milwaukee site just like you fill in a warranty. Backed out once date was shown. That should be something anyone...

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

Milwaukee surprised me. The brushed, older model set I just bought from HD has a July 2022 build date for all items.

    Milwaukee Power Tools Deal Permathread

Had a 5 pc combo (no not chicken) that looked good to me at HD. Made it a much better deal by opening a charge card at check out. It knocked down $50 from my total. Made it feel like I stole something!
