In the middle of wiring. Quick question

I would like to know if it's code or not. Running a neutral is not an option. I am not pulling down walls that are painted. it was a mistake. But I only planned on running 240. And if I add AC I will still will have the slot to add that.

In the middle of wiring. Quick question

Sorry for all the questions I just want to understand completely. If you're talking about lifting the ground off in the main panel not subpanel. What's the difference between what I'm doing and if it was just a 240 Outlet.

In the middle of wiring. Quick question

I apologize. It sounded like you were saying someone might mistake it and get a lethal shock. Because they did not know what I did in the past. Was just asking safest way or what not to do. I will wait for more to chime in. Thank you for your help

In the middle of wiring. Quick question

So what's your suggestion? Don't run the Box or buy a separate Ground Bar. If buying a ground bar is the safest solution I have no problem doing that. It's only 8 bucks.

In the middle of wiring. Quick question

That is true. I did put my black tape on my white hot wire. Plus I was going to get a sticker made that says 240 volt only. Don't know if that helps

In the middle of wiring. Quick question

That's my other thread. Yes the mistake was done I ran a 6 / 2 instead of a 6 / 3. My goal was the run two 240 volt and later on be able to add 120 if I wanted to. Walls are up wires ran. This was the only mistake I have made so far that I know of. LOL. I am not pulling down the walls at this...

In the middle of wiring. Quick question

This will only be a 240 sub panel. No neutrals needed. Only ran a 6/2. My question is per code do I need to go buy a separate Ground Bar. Or can I use the neutral bar as the ground bar since there will be no neutrals whatsoever. Brevard Florida

Almost done with electrical. Little more help!

This is what I'm hoping. Not my first choice. But the wire is already ran and behind the wall. So if I can run it strictly 240. Then it's not a total waste. I just need to be correct that the wiring diagram in post 10 is what I need to do.

Almost done with electrical. Little more help!

Sorry for the confusion. I just went to my garage and took a look at the breakers that I bought. The sub panel is going to be a dedicated 220v. NO 120v on the 6-slot subpanel. 220v only fed by a 50amp double pole breaker with 6-2 copper from the detached garage panel. 6-2 should be fine then...

Almost done with electrical. Little more help!

The hundred amp panel to the detached garage will be fed mhf 4 wire (2-2-2-4). But yes that's what I'm trying to figure out is the 6 slot sub panel inside the same detached garage. Do I need for wire or can I get away with three (6/2). for thesub panel inside the same detached garage I plan on...
