I just finished the shell of my new metal garage. I have osb board to put on the walls. Right now the wall studs are 4ft on center. I know I need to run wood horizontal on the vertical studs. My question is what size? 1x4 or 2x4. Is 1x4 to weak? And how far apart? 2ft spacing? Thank you.

Because of timing and the rain. We only agreed to do the roof. Which is the most important. They're charging me $300 labor. Which I think is a little high. But well worth it so I don't have to try to stick it to the roof. As long as it stays dry. Fingers crossed.

I got a trailer full of insulation. And I just got the phone call that they're installing the building next Thursday and Friday. I'm so excited. But my guess is something will come up and we'll reschedule. Not uncommon for them. But either way I'm moving along.
