    Old Chevy dealership

Count me in as one of those that would love the history on this and how you came across it. This is the car guy equivalent of El Dorado.

Above 1200 Sq/FT So it begins, our new build in DFW

Thanks for the kind words, the house was a real challenge to get built properly, we had to stay on top of the builder every step of the way. I'll take a few photos this weekend, I travel a lot (250,000 air miles annually) but have some time off coming up where I hope to make some progress...

My Southeast Ohio 30 by 40

You have made a lot of progress in a short time, makes me feel really lazy about not doing more to finish out my space (we moved in 2 and a half years ago). Keep it up!

Texas Tinkerer and escape from reality

The Spray Foam is key, we did it on our house when we built it 2 years ago and it has been great--the house is noticeably quieter and more comfortable than our neighbors (cooler in summer and warmer in winter). I'll see if I can find out who did ours.

    20 x 32 Craigslist Garage Build

That is a bit disturbing about the apple slices. I wouldn't eat them...and might go so far as to suggest that the fries might be a healthier option vs. the "better living thru chemistry" apples

    SnookSniper's Seminole Shanty of Sheninigans

Thanks for the kind words, space is always at a premium no matter how much you have especially in the garage! I'm always looking for better ways to store things neatly as a result of my being a bit OCD and I love nothing more than to stretch a buck.

    SnookSniper's Seminole Shanty of Sheninigans

Great thread with lots of neat storage solutions, nicely done and it motivates me to start straightening up the garage my wife parks in as she is a big fan of eliminating clutter in the house by moving stuff into the garage.

    Non Name-Brand LED Bulbs

We are all LED here--lots of high ceilings and my days of OSHA violation ladder rigs are behind me. We have Utilitech bulbs in all of our can lights (we must have 80 of them) and have only lost one since we moved into the house in July of 2014. In floor lamps, bathroom vanity lights and our...

    The John Deere House...and Garage

Looking good! BTW--what is the siding made of? Is that wood or asbestos? You may want to have it tested. There is no danger if it is intact and sound but it's better to know since you are doing a significant remodel.

single car start from scratch :D down under...

    Dead cat farm

Hats off to you and your wife on an amazing renovation. We did two major house rehabs before building this one but nothing on the scale of what you have done. Looking forward to seeing more updates as you move into the home stretch (pun sort of intended).

    Sticandy's Modest Dream Garage Build

Good call on the spray foam, you will love it. It makes the space quiet and draft free. Keep the updates and photos coming.

    Storm Shelter Accessories

The weather radio with an alert siren is useful if you cannot hear the municipal sirens or are in an area that does not have sirens. Backup batteries for a cell phone would be useful as well--just remember to keep them charged.

    PA Home 33x38 Attached Garage

Looks great, wish I had a bit more width and depth on my garages, wife takes up one two car bay by herself to park her SUV. Looks like you have a full basement too, loves me some basement but we don't have those here in TX.
