    Floor Grinding

I have some Ghostshield densifier and sealant to protect my floor but before I install it I’m considering grinding the floor down to make it smooth. I’m questioning whether its worth doing or not considering the mess it’s going to make and the fact that I have to empty out my garage for an...

    Ceiling Vent

It's a spray on roof so I believe it has insulating properties. But other then that there's no foam. So its cunstructed of TJIs then plywood, and finally the sprayed on roof coating.

Thanks, I will look into that.

    Ceiling Vent

Good point, I should have clarified. I'm in New Jersey so we get a range of weather but no insane extremes. I will also be putting in fiberglass insulation.

    Ceiling Vent

I'm look for some input on my next project. I have some time off for the holidays so I want to install drywall on my ceiling. I have a flat roof that sits on TJIs. Do I need to install any sort of ventilation up there? I plan to eventually heat the garage. Thanks. Heres a Pic from the inside.

I have a question about ghostshield densifier/ 8510. I originally wanted to do a coating in a color but unfortunately I couldn’t hold off filling up the garage. It would be unrealistic to pull everything out, grind down the floor and apply the coating. So I have settled on densifying and sealing...

    Spotless Car Wash

To OP: You mentioned the post was outside of the building, would you bury the line? I think the line freezing is the biggest concern.

    Water Seeping Through Block Walls

On a side note: The west and north walls are up against other buildings. Would it be worth putting up foam board insulation under vinyl siding on the south wall and 3/4 of the east wall? There is a fence up against the east wall. I have all the supplies to do the job except the insulation...

New Milwaukee M12 stubby impact wrenches announced for all you mechanics

I'm excited for these, I feel like these compact power tools are finally able to replace pneumatics. I just picked up the 1/2 Mid torque and 3/8 fuel ratchet. I will definitely be getting one of these as well. Most likely the 3/8 since it it has the same specs of the 1/2 and I use 3/8 the most...

    Water Seeping Through Block Walls

Sorry I meant to say that the downspouts have since been installed. I am in NJ. The water is coming in on the west wall above the other roof and the east wall. When i get home i will try to get a shot of the east wall. It is not finished like the front is, just exposed block. I think your right...

    Water Seeping Through Block Walls

Your spot on about the roof. Its does have a low slope towards the front where there is a large gutter running the width of the garage. This was actually something I thought about at the beginning but for some reason completely forgot to check out last time it rained. Here is an older pic of...

    Water Seeping Through Block Walls

I updated the original post with pictures. I would have to get onto my neighbors property to get a shot of the exterior side where the water is coming from. I will try to get one later on.

    Water Seeping Through Block Walls

Interesting point. I didn't consider that. The mortar completely fills the joints its just sticking out some. Unfortunately i don't really see how this could be fixed since its so close to the other wall. There would be no way to fit in between. Also, the larger exposed side was tooled and...

    Water Seeping Through Block Walls

Hello, I am in the process of setting up my garage and wanted to get some suggestions on a problem I am having. The garage was built right up against 2 other building. The front and the right side are completely exposed. A few months ago, sometime after it was built, I noticed moisture on the...
