    Something a little different.....

My plan is to have a lower desk-height table for the reloading. I'll also have a computer desk (the one with the tank on it in the pictures) in the room. Additionally, I plan on building (or buying) another table with a butcher-block top for use as an assembly table. It needs to be smooth and...

    Something a little different.....

Thanks, the one in my avatar is his new little sister. By the looks of your avatar, you have a good looking pup too. Only the legs are pressure-treated. The rest is just good ol' untreated pine. I'm thinking either some polyurethane or fill the cracks on the top of the bench with wood filler...

    Something a little different.....

Thanks, paint is almost done, so I should have some progress pics in the next day or so. Also, I keep thinking about the bench and whether I should stain it, paint it, or leave it be. Any input from you guys?

    Something a little different.....

Thanks. I'm going to try and go minimalistic with everything as much as possible. As you can see in the pictures theres a lot of stuff everywhere. Hopefully some different storage options will take care of that for me.

    Something a little different.....

Well, I didn't know exactly where to put this since it's not exactly a "garage"....I have one of those out back though. But it is a workshop, so hopefully I don't get ostracized for it. :P This is a progression of my "gun room". It started out as merely a corner of my full, unfinished...

    Tube (forced air) Heater...which fuel?

Well, I'm looking into getting a tube heater (forced air heater) like a Reddy Heater...my question is this: There are propane, kerosene/diesel, strictly kerosene, etc fueled tube heaters...which one would be the best/most efficient? I realize that "best" and "most efficient" might not be the...

    DZUS Tools

well, you would think this is true...for most people a slotted screwdriver is probably fine but after prolonged use, a flat head will mess up the slot on the dzus when customers have $200k in a race car, they get picky about little things like that

    Any engine builders here?

the caps typically wont come off even if you take the bolts out...so nothing should change unless you hit one of the caps and it pops loose, they should stay put just take the bolts out, remove the girdle, and replace bolts and torque them down (this is assuming the engine is upside down on a...
