Best made in the USA 3/4" garden hose?

I bought some premade "garden hoses" from the local hydraulic store. Wanted to get a good rubber hose and went down the rabbit hole of industrial hose from a Bridgestone Hydraulic Hose Store. Now the one I bought premade had aluminum fittings, but they sell legit brass fittings that they will...

Well some degreaser, a toothbrush, and some grease and it works like new. Looks like grease inside was just dried cake of its former self.

    Pry Bars Decision

I have 3 piece Wilde set not the 5 piece but they are great. Bought a few Mayhew ones later on and they are really close to the Wilde, but the grip is rubberized and strike cap seems more substantial on the Mayhew. Kind of nice if you are hammering a lot. Overall you cannot go wrong with...

New to me Proto 560S 45" Workstation - couple questions

At least three fity, but seriously look at what industrial cabinets like that are selling for in your area and add a little above that since it is setup like a mobile tool chest. Or start higher and then barter down lower. Also most cabinets like that have a serial number/part number in them if...

    Concrete Costs

Concrete is getting many price increases. I know we got a $10 yard increase beginning of the year and just was told in a few months it was likely going up another $8. We are running a batch plant on a large job and get it for the low price of $150/yard on an industrial scale. I would do a few...

    Wurth hand tools on sale

So if anyone is missed out on the 8 piece deep offset there is a better deal. Just add all the wrenches individually to cart and its cheaper. Made my own 10 piece set for $62 out the door. A lot of the smaller sizes 6-18mm are 80-90% off and the larger wrenches are 60%.

    Wurth hand tools on sale

Yeah tried again and got further on chrome. Had it in cart at final part of checkout and then it said there is no stock. Must be a mistake showing in stock and letting you add it to cart when it is really out of stock.

Is there a better welding helmet than the Lincoln Viking 3350?

Fabtech is the best place to try out hoods and buy them at a discount. I have a crystal 2.0 and its very nice, but for what it is worth if you are on a budget the miller digital elite or performance is pretty close. The clearlight lens miller added is close to optrel, but optrel is just a little...

Cutting torch regulators for Oxy/Propylene recommendations

After looking up the 8400 its setup is very unique compared to other regulators. We actually have one of those airco/concoa dual stage with the metal guard. Never gave it any thought, since we did not know the brand and when looking up regulators they don't really come up in online results...

Cutting torch regulators for Oxy/Propylene recommendations

Our shop has a lot of old regulators that we get rebuild and constantly cycle through. Recently rebuild parts have become a little bit scarce/crazy expensive for some and we were told to buy some new regulators as a cheaper alternative to rebuilding. Currently we use old victor, smith, and...

Dwell Meters, who still uses them?

Dwell meters are still good for modern engines to check coil packs to make sure they are in spec or what actual dwell is. Not super common, but once you get into upper levels of racing you start checking what coils are capable of and what you can command from them via the computer.

get a welder while you can

We have all miller machines in the shops at work. Lincoln welder/generators to take on big mobile jobs where there are no welding drops. However, we bought like 6 Accupocket battery operated welders after trialing one for a year. They cost a lot like almost $4k, but they are great for areas...

    Proto Italy?

Just bought a bunch of ratcheting wrenches that before were US COO, but actual package they came in said Taiwan and had a V2 engraved on the wrench. Was surprised, but went to their webpage and they had dropped the US flag. Like others have said a lot of stuff changes and websites might not be...
