This all started because of a Table Saw...

Came out great! Love the black and red. I have the same saw and really like it. Seems to have enough power for my needs

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

The outside pieces will be anchored to studs on the wall. My goal is to get the face frames to overlap the safe just a bit which will kind of lock it in place. My office is also in the basement with a solid core locked door.....besides, we kinda live out in the sticks so never had a problem (yet)

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Well, after seeing how tall the built-ins were going to be, the boss decided she didn't want them to go all the way to the ceiling. She'd rather a shelf on the top that she can put "stuff" on....plants, brickabrack, whoknowswhat..... So, today I cut them down a bit. Thankfully I had just mocked...

Finally used the Kreg circular saw guide

I have one and use it whenever I'm breaking down plywood. I don't have a tracksaw (yet) I really like it

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Today I started building some built-in bookcases that will go in my basement office. They'll surround my gunsafe and be painted once they're done....hence the use of MDF instead of nicer wood. Man this stuff is heavy.....

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

We have the HRG lift on the wife's Bronco Sport - definitely added some beefiness to the look and allowed for the larger tires

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I got the file cabinet painted. Have ordered new slides and black screws for the hardware. Still not sure what I'll use it for but least now it matches the color scheme of the shop.... :)

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I bought this oak file cabinet back in the early 80s at an unfinished furniture store and had them shoot it with clear. The drawer slides have since failed and we don't need it in the office any longer so I'm sanding it just enough that it will take paint, then I'll paint it, put some new drawer...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

This thing was a beast. Took myself and 3 others to load it in my truck, then once I got it home I used the tractor with forks to unload it. Drove it around to the basement door and set it on carpet scraps. Dragging it across the room and into place via straps was an amazing leg workout.....

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Thank you! No, the clocks are actually all new pieces that were purchased on Amazon, but look vintage which is what the boss/head designer/SWMBO was going for.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Spent a few hours today cleaning up after the ceiling project. I'm not a great woodworker, but I'm awesome at creating sawdust. What do you all do with sawdust? I've just been throwing it in the flower beds...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Made a huge mess while finishing the t&g ceiling. Spilled a can of stain, lots of sawdust everywhere. It was raining sideways so every time I opened the shop door, **** got blown all over the place.... Good news is I finished the ceiling 10 minutes before the power went out from the storm...

    Meatal building questions

One other thing I didn't realize,(thankfully the salesperson pointed it out) was that unless you specify colored screws, you get stainless. I didn't want a bunch of silver dots all over my building

    Meatal building questions

I was told by friends to make sure I got vertical siding but didn't want the extra cost. I have horizontal siding and don't mind it at all. Our posts are 30" o.c. due to snow load requirements which meant I had to run horizontal boards in the inside to attach my plywood walls. Not sure if this...
