Light switches that turn themselves back on?

You guys are on the right track, this is about energy savings. I got curious and pulled a switch plate to get the model number, here's the switch: http://www.kele.com/Catalog/12%20Lighting%20Controls/PDFs/SS%20Series%20Catalog%20Page.pdf If you turn it back off where you turned it on, no...

Light switches that turn themselves back on?

Good suggestion, hadn't considered that. Will try staying still before flipping the switch next time.

Light switches that turn themselves back on?

This is industrial space built in the late 50s, but remodeled into office space some time after 2000. It is an interior part of the building with no natural lighting. Maybe it's to keep someone from getting stuck in complete darkness? There are can lights that are not switched, but they might...

Light switches that turn themselves back on?

There are some three-way switches at work that turn themselves back on after a few second delay. Sometimes the first time you turn them off they stay off. Other times they turn themselves back on a couple times after a brief delay, then on the third try they stay off. It's like they are fighting...

    What's this window sealant called?

Okay, Catalina Island... All freight going to the island is handled by a single company that is very restrictive about what they carry. So no aerosols, epoxies, and apparently a bunch of other stuff.

    What's this window sealant called?

Thanks guys, that looks like what I want. The closest Menard's is 670 miles from me, and Home Depot doesn't carry it. Guessing this is an "up north" product. Amazon has got it though!

    What's this window sealant called?

I'm painting a metal door with a fan light insert. It's not installed yet, so I can disassemble everything and do a nice job. I removed the window so i can paint the backsides of the plastic mullion frames. The window was sealed to the outside frame with some sort of elastic material. It came...

Should this garage be aligned with property line or house?

I vote for aligning with the house. The trapezoid suggestion by Vintage Veloce represents the true spirit of GJ, genius! You should build it so you can rotate it to decide which one you like best. We have plenty of "raised the garage" threads but we're kinda sparse on "rotated the garage"...

Bendpak install: what is this part?

Finished up this afternoon. Went well. Nice piece of equipment. I was helping my kid assemble it for his shop. That means I get access whenever I need a lift, right?

Putting together a Bendpak four post lift and things are going pretty well but we've got eight of these star-looking washers and have no idea where they go. A little help? -- Carl
