    Tools on car shows

Never had an oil filter not come off with the proper tool before? I've had 2 or 3 that required a stabbing to get off. Luckily that has been it. Sent from my LML713DL using Tapatalk

    Quality air tools?

I 've had an aircat 805-ht in 3/8 for a couple years now. Its a pretty good ratchet. It is a full size ratchet, so tight spots isnt its thing. I think the rating is around 130 ft lbs, and it will actually do it. Ive used it to remove lugnuts on passenger cars without any problems. Be forewarned...

Went to Harbor frieght today and picked up a home for the Primeweld Tig welder. Since it had plenty of room, its neighbor will be the Hobart Handler 210 mig. Could have squeezed the Hobart stick on it inbetween the two, but wouldnt had room to open spool door. Sent from my LML713DL using Tapatalk

    It broke again....Snap on

I have one left intact from HF. The rest are broken. In my opnion, I think by design they all are just inherently weak. Sent from my LML713DL using Tapatalk

    Airgas is such a ripoff

I got a quote from Airgas to buy a full 125 cu ft bottle of argon and it was 480 dollars out the door. Instead, i ended up getting a full bottle from Amazon shipped for 322 from weldfabulous. Getting acetelyn shipped probably would be a different story, but for full bottles for welding mixes...

Looking for a lower cost AC/DC Tig? check this out.

The welder itself has a Styrofoam clamshell that encased it. The box has metal gussets in the corners, and the way everything is packaged, there are no empty voids to allow the items to move around inside the box. Sent from my LML713DL using Tapatalk

Looking for a lower cost AC/DC Tig? check this out.

I recieved it about 4 days after purchase. I havent had the chance to fire it up yet, but will this weekend. I was impressed with how well they packaged it. The only chincy part of it seems to be the foot pedal. Amazon was carrying it for 775, same as ebay, but it was from the same distributor...

    Let's see your toolbox.

Those are the 24 inch deep ones probably. The others were 18 inches deep. When the 24 first came out, they were 249 for the first few weeks. I have the 18 inch deep one at work and the 24 in the garage. Sent from my LML713DL using Tapatalk

    vacuum pump for innertube repairs

If you dont feel like making one , just look up vac generators. Most use compressed air utilizing the venturi effect. We use them them on robots at work to pull parts from injection molding machines. Sent from my LML713DL using Tapatalk

The owner of 6061 had one sent to him to try out. Apparently it is a pretty competent machine and he uses it also. Of all the youtube tig wleders out there.... He can make some of the nicest welds. Hes been making automotive fab parts such as intakes, intercoolers, fuel tanks, etc. for quite...

1/2" deep socket set recommendations SAE

If you have an impact, or plan on one in the future, I would skip chrome and just go with a master set of impacts from Sunex. For the bolts i cant get the impact on, i just slap a ratchet on them. The 1/2" chrome sockets usually stay in the box...

    Flex head ratchets

I went with the Gearwrench 120 flexheads for work. They dont see heavy use at work, but do get used daily unfortunately. In the garage I have snap on in 1/4 and 3/8 drive along with alot of the older SK Tuff one round head ratchets. Also in the mix is a 25 inch Tone 1/2 drive. All have served me...

Are 3/8 impact wrenches all weak?

The Aircat 805-ht definitely isnt weak. Its rated around 130ft lbs so be prepared as its not reactionless. Ive used mine on lugnuts on cars without a problem. Sent from my LML713DL using Tapatalk
