    Snap-on resale value dropping?

So where does a seven year old find the bucks to buy dad SO tools for Father's Day? He must be pushing more than lemonade down at the curbside stand.

Because of the Garage Journal: Tools

This place has utterly transformed the way I think about my shop and tools, and, yes, it's been a spendy lesson. Worth every dime of it.

Gearwrench 120 4pc set or Snap on dual 80?

I use both and like them a lot. I've been accumulating a lot of GW stuff, but also have 4 SO ratchets. My sense is that the SO is slightly better at engaging the ratchet when the bolt is 'loose,' but not yet 'finger' loose. The GW will simply rotate the bolt backwards. This is not a...

    Screwdriver bits: assembling a set.

Hi, all, I recently acquired a set of Snap-On ratcheting screwdrivers, and I want to put together an ultimate (for me) set. I have no need for security bits. My interests are in maintaining my '77 F-150 Ranger XLT and in restoring/operating my vintage wood and metal working machines. I'm...

    Finally made up my mind!

That looks great! I've got a Race Deck floor, but it's a lot more subdued than yours. My shop is about half the size of yours, so it was tough to get real creative. Again: an amazing floor!

    Ultrasonic cleaner

I've got the HF cleaner and have used it virtually daily. It's an essential part of my rust control system. I would buy another in a heartbeat if this one goes belly up, but it shows no sign of slowing down, and it's three years old! Chandos

Price check on a lista cabinet

Someone once told me on this site that they're worth $50 per drawer. It's worked pretty well in the Hampton Roads area. I have at least a half-dozen now. A very close version of the op's cabinet cost me $450, but his has those wonderful little bins. Cheers! Chandos

WTF? New Advertising Here at GJ?

You've got an especially malignant virus that is a bear to remove (involves messing about with the registry). I picked it up from a CNET download, so it doesn't have anything to do with **** sites. I finally "restored" Windows 7 Pro to the most recent "restore point" previous to the infection...
