    Metal Pegboard

Also some more of what I’m debating... OmniWall says that it is 18 gauge, and Wall Control is 20 gauge Wall control costs roughly 1/3 less. It guess in theory the accessories from each would be interchangeable.

    Metal Pegboard

Thanks again for taking the time to search. Unfortunately the metal options hardly showed up in those threads unless I missed something. Also I’m not interested in the debates about pegboard or not...pegboard vs French cleats. I have decided that already. I deleted the first paragraph from...

    Metal Pegboard

I’m going with a section of pegboard. What brand? I’m going with metal and so far just looked at Wall Control and OmniWall. Are all the various brands interchangeable? I see a lot of them have both the traditional holes and some have what look like slots as well.

    Insulating Basement Walls

I’m working on my basement shop. Is there a good site on how to insulate the concrete walls? I see a lot of strong opinions. Is there a best practice?

    How Smooth for RaceDeck?

Thanks for all of the replies. Being in the basement and the roughness has me shying away from epoxy so that really helps.

    How Smooth for RaceDeck?

The concrete guys were pretty rough in my neighborhood. Mostly spec homes. I’m considering racedeck type flooring for my basement shop. Overall the floor is fairly flat, but it is not very smooth. There is even a section where it looks like it was covered in plastic that then blew. Now...

    Epoxy in 2 Applications

I appreciate the reply. That’s what I was afraid of. I guess I’ll have to figure out a way to clear it out.

    Epoxy in 2 Applications

I am thinking about using epoxy in my basement shop. The problem is it would be difficult to move all of the machines out. Is it possible to do half, move everything over to the other side, and then do the other half? Or is that going to create problems? I don’t really have any natural seems to...

Where to run ducts in basement?

You do make a good point. Just trying to get an idea right now. And correct HVAC. I’m going to keep the dust collection outside of the Sheetrock.

Where to run ducts in basement?

I am finally getting a house that I can have a wood shop in the basement. I attached a rough drawing. I would like to go ahead and run the ducts so that I can put up drywall. However I don’t know where to start... The shop is the area with the tools. The big square on the left is under the...

    Epoxy Basemolding

Yes that’s exactly what I’m talking about. Thanks!

    Epoxy Basemolding

Yeah I guess I’m asking what would I need to put over that gap and on the wall. I’d like to have the epoxy go maybe 6-8” up the wall.

    Epoxy Basemolding

I have a concrete garage floor with Sheetrock walls and wood baseboard. Ideally I would like to run the epoxy up the wall a few inches instead of the wood. That way I can get the floor wet and not have it run into the walls. Has anybody done this? Is this possible? What would I need to put...

    M18 Over Discharge Protection

Haha I’m glad to hear that you had good results. They make a lot of upgrades so I’ll do that as he breaks things. https://www.mltoys.com/category-s/116.htm I really just want a faster recharge time, but more power can’t hurt! He hauled a bunch of straw bales and bags. It was actually...

    M18 Over Discharge Protection

Fortunately it looks like it is a $12 fix. I need to see if I can find a little box to put these two pieces in. This is one time that I miss RadioShack like places. While there is so much more available now it is sometimes harder not being able to just look at it in person.

    M18 Over Discharge Protection

So is there a workaround? I have seen the batteries used in other applications. I wonder if anybody has some type of protection other than checking the batteries periodically.

    M18 Over Discharge Protection

I want to run my son’s Power Wheels truck off of my Milwaukee batteries. My plan is to use one of the 3D printed battery adapters and a DC motor speed controller. I’ll upgrade the motors if he burns them up. This has been done many times, and there are plenty of examples of how to do the...
