Proper cleaning procedure for vintage Snap-On tools?

Hey guys, I have inherited my father's vast tool collection when he passed away. He was a mechanic and had his own classic car restoration/Speed Shop business and 99% of his daily use Snap-On ratchets, sockets and wrenches are in impeccable condition. Some of his large wrenches however were in...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Removed (3) 8ft fluorescent fixtures and replaced them the (5) 8ft fixtures with 4ft LED bulbs.. It's like instant daylight at the flip of a switch. :D

4 Post Lift: Minimum clearance from front wall to garage door?

Spoke with Advantage regarding both lifts and I will clearly have more room with the Backyard Buddy as it's 168" vs 185" length for the Advantage and BB is 108 width vs 113. The pros of the BB is the footprint is smaller and it's made in America. The Backyard Buddy cons are I'll lose 2,000lb...

4 Post Lift: Minimum clearance from front wall to garage door?

Yeah it will be tight for sure w/ either lift, especially with Advantage foot print. There is a GoodGuys show in my area next month and Advantage will be out there on display. I will talk with them and go with the best route. Just ***** they are only $200 difference in price but you get a lot...

4 Post Lift: Minimum clearance from front wall to garage door?

Yeah for sure, ramps are 36 inches.... Ceiling will work, but not ideal at 10.2ft. I will stack a 56ich car in pic and 44inch car so I should have plenty of clearance. Jeep and wife's SUV will fit on lift, but will not stack. Going from a 4,000ft shop (father's Classic car restoration/speed...

4 Post Lift: Minimum clearance from front wall to garage door?

Ok I added a quick pic, you can see the elevated 3.5ft in the foreground and the garage space in question. The white 12x12 tile is the baseplate position if I place the lift nearest to the garage door.

4 Post Lift: Minimum clearance from front wall to garage door?

I'm narrowing down the selection of a 4 post lift and think I've settled on the Advantage standard lift. My garage space is now is 3 car (2car and one single stall w/ no walls in between) front entry garage with bedrooms over garage. I feel I'm ok height and width but concerned with length...

Any single pin 8ft led Hybrid Type A+B bulb recommendations?

Trying to find a quality 8ft hybrid bulb to replace my current fluorescent ballast bulbs. I'm not wanting to rewire and want lights for when the ballasts do eventually fail. Seems most I'm finding are ballast bypass or dual pins. I guess the question is do they make a hybrid single pin? Thanks...
