Between the River Hills & the River Bottom

Re: Between the River Hills & the River Bottom I would highly recommend using fishing tackle boxes for your electrical equipment. I've got one for 12v and one for 120v applications. We also use them at work for 120v outlets, switches, and plugs. There's quite the variety out there and...

Between the River Hills & the River Bottom

Good looking build! Pretty interesting power/extension dolly you have there as well. We picked up a few "turtle boxes" from a military surplus a few years ago, they stack and store well but no wheels!

    Non-wood subfloor for trailer

Roll on bed-liner over wood does wonders. Stay cheap and plan to rebuild it once a decade-along with the trailer lights.

Agreed with gt, spent the day reading the whole thing and admiring the pictures. Thank you spending the time to write everything up and take photos! Love the cleanliness and care taken to keep things tidy. I'm all about cleaning things up when I work on them, never understand why people don't...

    Knipex Handle Slid Off

Been using the pliers for a little over a year now, pure salt water environment. They have handled great, every now and then I wash them with dawn and soak them in T9 Bioshield. HOWEVER, seems like the florida heat finally got to the other handle, it slid off yesterday while on a trip. Epoxy on...

    Mike's 03 Sierra projects

Looks great, I've got something similar running in my 05. Hard to get a good photo without sunlight. Having the digital voltage guage makes all the difference. Run straight to the battery. Powering a backup camera, light bar relay, and 4 backup lights.

What type of cable lug is this?

Ooooh, I thought it was a connection issue. I guess that makes sense, I usually pre-shape the wire before soldering, haven't had an issue yet but I'll keep an eye out. (All for truck/boat wiring)

Why are titanium tools so expensive?

I've always thought titanium was way stronger. I wonder if the the airline (more specifically fighter jet) industries drive the prices up with demand. I would assume most new military aircraft are mostly titanium framed/lined?

Raptor bed-liner as a garage floor coating

Ah! I figured you would have sprayed it down from the spray gun they sell separately.

Raptor bed-liner as a garage floor coating

Absolutely love Raptor Liner. So much better than any roll on bed liner and is definetly priced competitively. I had it for 2 years on various parts of my truck, never scrubbed or peeled like the rhino liner in my bed did. What PSI did you spray at?

    Products you swear by . . .

Loctite brand Super Glue actually. And never the gell kind. The smaller the bottle the better. Leatherman's, Sharpies, Jean, you name it. I try to find the nicest simplest things in the hopes they will last. Even razor blades, one swipe on a stone and they are usually good to use again.

    Bed liner texture

I've heard you can spray it with raptor liner, then sprinkle large grain sugar everywhere. Let the bed liner dry then spray and wash the boat, the sugar dimples leave it extra aggressive.
