I did have 1 handle slide off. I called customer service and found someone who speaks English, not only did they want to warranty it, but they said if I glue it myself it will not void anything.
My only regret so far was ordering them from ChadsToolBox.
For garage work I stick with standard handles. Simple green cleans them with 1 wipe AND you could replace them if need be.
But for anything else I would choose comfort, im usually in an XL or XXL Glove and like the extra handle to hold.
Out of the Garage but when I decided to get a new set of fishing pliers I went with Knipex Chrome plated needle nose. I had a few of their other pliers and knew their quality would be great.

Put a voltmeter on the battery while running. Should be somewhere around 14v if not higher.
