They can keep all their "free" stuff. I want my tools in a timely manner not :monkey_po. No I am not a competitor. Simply a pissed off former customer.

The Hazet torque wrenches are also top notch quality wrenches. They are probably the best torque wrenches that use a spring mechanism. They are also very accurate (2% for the 6000 series). You can also purchase the Hazet with the interchangeable heads. The Stahlwille build quality is on...

Here is what I received this Friday. It is the last of the three torque wrenches I ordered. Impressive accuracy for the 20-100 Nm wrench (0.43%). @Monte I sold my Hazet torque wrench to my brother (keeping it in the family :bounce:). Those Wiha Inomic look very useful.

You are right, the Gedore U-10 is one of the smoothest ratchets made. It is one of my favorite ratchets (only slightly below the Hazet 916F). I have yet to try the Facom, but I think the Hazet 916F is a copy of the Facom mechanism.

@Chreese Those are the coolest photos. I love the 3/4" stahlwille next to the 1/4" Hazet. You must have an awesome camera.

@Robertob I bought it at Zdmak. They had it in stock and cheaper than anyone else.

You are probably right, but all it takes is one bad job to make you wish you had done it right. Here is my latest tool. A very useful little thing.

@Monte I love the Hazet fine tooth ratchets. I agree, the Facom tags is a very simple and effective idea. I wish other brands would copy it.

@Bhae I paid around $350 for the smaller size (2-20Nm) and $450 for the largest one (40-200 Nm). The inserts run about $90 each. Not cheap, but quality products seldom are.

Okay, I finally had enough money to get torque wrenches. I ordered three, but one is on backorder. I now have the full range that I think I will need. They range from 2-20NM, 20-100NM (backorder), and 40-200Nm. Drum roll please! These are the best I could find :bounce:

According to the Ultimate Garage owner, the new Facom 400 series are made by Toptul. Below is his response to my email. I still think the older made in France tools are superior in quality to the newer Taiwan made stuff. Although, Toptul is a decent tool maker. "Some of the hand tools are...

Any opinion on these Beta boxes? Love the orange finish, but not sure on the quality. _________________________________ I know that some of thier tool boxes are made by Toptul. Although I do not know about that specific tool box.

I think each of those companies have their strengths. Stahlwille makes great tools. Their torque ratchets are probably the best around. Hazet makes awesome fine tooth ratchets, their wrenches are very good, and their sockets are top quality. IMHO Gedore makes better pliers than either Hazet...

@MarcSeattle For a Hazet pronunciation go to their website and click their "Film Archive" http://www.hazet.de/de/download-service/film-archiv.html For Gedore go to youtube and do a search. They have a few films posted (the last e is pronounced closer to an "a" similar to Porsche).

@Hawk321 I was only half serious :lol_hitti. I decided a while back to only buy the best tools I could afford. Notice that I only use Hazet and Gedore (with the ocassional Stahlwille and Snap On). In the end, cheap products always end up costing more.
