    Tools from the old world

Great tools all around. I really like those yellow handled HAZET. I just received a shipment of HAZET tools myself. The flex head ratchet was hard to get (I wanted the black handled version). While it is a top quality tool, I think GEDORE and Stahlwille's versions are slightly better because...

    Tools from the old world

:scared: Good question. I use them mainly when working around the house, but have also used them when working on the car electronics. Electricity is the one thing that really scares me :scared: Besides, it is a good reason to start collecting tools ;)...

    Hazet Tools, Whats the Appeal?

Here is the wrench comparison that was mentioned. Hazet was ranked as the strongest of all 18 wrenches tested, but was not #1 due to the high price. Snap On did not do too well.

    Tools from the old world

The green ones are designed in Germany, but made in Czech Republic (as most Wera products are). The Wera Kraftform Plus Chiseldriver with Pound-Thru Blade (i.e. yellow handle) are Made in Germany. Wera makes good products so I would not worry about it too much. Their laser tips are very good.

Some are quality tools, but I get nervous just by looking at the photo :eyecrazy:

    Tools from the old world

Is the finish the same on both wrenches or is the color variation due to the flash? The one at the bottom seems to have the typical German finish (e.g. Hazet, Elora, Gedore, etc.). The one on top seems to be shinnier, which could be an indication of not German made. Both have the German...

    Tools from the old world

I have to buy one of those. Very nice. Here are the torx screwdrivers I got with the Hazet 166N. The handle are very nice and comfortable. I believe these are made by FELO for HAZET.

Here is a photo of the Hazet torque wrench certificate. The wrench is very accurate at 0.47%.
