Haha good point. But really put it like this. Channellocks will remove a stuck fastener better than a pair of vg. I have plenty of both and tried them. But do what you want.

Try the channllocks and you'll change you're mind. Surprised no one has mentioned a pipe wrench.

Channellocks work better than vise grips. They are self locking and their teeth won't wear nearly as fast. You can use offshore stuff if you want to, but I do these tests for a reason. If anybody can school me on how to upload a video on here I'll show the actual process of a wrench, and vise...

Keep in mind, I was not trying to fasten anything. I mimicked a stuck bolt situation by tightening it to a stack of nuts in a vice. Any 9/16" WRENCH (save a proto ASD wrightgrip or snap on flank drive plus or anything with similar design) would have slipped right over the corners. Open or box.
