F@#x that ain't the least bit strange. Especially with all the stuff going on these days. I think that's awesome and it only makes sense.

    The DeWalt Addiction Thread

People seem to think Milwaukee has more specialized tools...I think dewalt wins in that department. They also tend to think Milwaukee has the largest 18v line-up, but that's Makita's claim. Also, my dcd995 hammerdrill has that clack as well. Doesn't bother me either. Still has higher rpm than...

And you don't even need to squeeze. That's the best part.

    Anyone else like Channellocks?

I do like them a lot. I like the 422 and gl10s better for most things. The jaws on that big adjustable look flawless from here. Nice job.

Channellock Torture Test: GL10 VS GRADE 8 BOLT

Haha good point. But really put it like this. Channellocks will remove a stuck fastener better than a pair of vg. I have plenty of both and tried them. But do what you want.

Channellock Torture Test: GL10 VS GRADE 8 BOLT

Try the channllocks and you'll change you're mind. Surprised no one has mentioned a pipe wrench.

Channellock Torture Test: GL10 VS GRADE 8 BOLT

Channellocks work better than vise grips. They are self locking and their teeth won't wear nearly as fast. You can use offshore stuff if you want to, but I do these tests for a reason. If anybody can school me on how to upload a video on here I'll show the actual process of a wrench, and vise...

Channellock Torture Test: GL10 VS GRADE 8 BOLT

I don't want to make this thread a debate about anything. At the end of the day I wanted to see which of my tools could tackle a tough situation such as the one I created. This was for my own enjoyment and decided to share my experience. In my next torture test I will include my disclaimer in...

Channellock Torture Test: GL10 VS GRADE 8 BOLT

Just saw this...awesome. I like the test. I really think the only thing that went against the nutbuster in my test was the inability to get the ideal jaw opening. You mentioned a few things earlier that I wanted to capitalize on, because I don't think most people notice these things on their...

Channellock Torture Test: GL10 VS GRADE 8 BOLT

Keep in mind, I was not trying to fasten anything. I mimicked a stuck bolt situation by tightening it to a stack of nuts in a vice. Any 9/16" WRENCH (save a proto ASD wrightgrip or snap on flank drive plus or anything with similar design) would have slipped right over the corners. Open or box.
