    "can I borrow your..."

Re: "can I borrow your..." Exactly. I've helped a certain individual get his starter set. Pretty much the old cheaper worn tools that I wanted to replace anyway, but enough to get him going. Hunted down an old community box for em, and for the first 2 years I handed him what he asked...

    "can I borrow your..."

They say sharing is caring. They told us as kids to share our toys. Now I'm a grown-up and I say I don't care, I'm not sharing my toys anymore! We both work at the same joint. If I can buy the tools I need to make life easier for myself then so can they. Besides, I keep allowing them to use my...

    Wrightgrip wrenches

Yea I realized this first hand when I had to remove a 7/8" hex nozzle. There is very little clearance, could not get the Wright grip on, but I WAS able to get my SK on rather quickly. I stand corrected guys, and no steelespeed, def not a deal breaker. I won't be using these Wright grips for...

    No love for Klein?

I like Klein tools. i guess that Klein was a German immigrant, came to the US for a better life, made all the tools here in the US. Fast forward a couple generations, and grandson Klein is, as southernbuild pointed out, outsourcing to other countries, Germany included. im not mad at 'em though...

    Wrightgrip wrenches

I could not zoom in on that page he posted, but yea I loaded the catalog and as you said strangely they leave that detail out...what reliable source did you get eight degrees from? I unscientificly put my speed square to it and got roughly 15 degrees. Again, not the most accurate thing being...

    Wrightgrip wrenches

That guy isn't the most technical...I just compared it's offset to my sk which has 15 degree offset. Identical. Funny though nowhere specifies though. Maybe in their master catalog they'll have it.

    Wrightgrip wrenches

I think I'm gunna challenge you on that. Mine really look like a 15 degree, tough to tell for sure without my sk wrenches to compare them to, which are 15 degrees. Any proof? I want it in blood lol [emoji2]

Knipex Cobra vs Cobra Quick Set

The NWS Quattro grips are nice. I noticed a couple things though. They have teeth covering the entirety of both top and bottom jaw. These teeth are non directional, as in they will tighten and loosen with the same gripping power without having to flip your pliers around. The idea is they give...

    Proto tool socket set issues.

Generally, 3/4" drive and up isn't built to be pretty. A lot of my 3/4" stuff is black oxide. I keep it pretty much dripping in oil. My 3/4" chrome stuff (Proto, Wright, and Williams) is satin and is very rough. Nobody buys 3/4" for the looks - it's to get the job done. I think it does have a...

    Anyone else like Channellocks?

The gl are great pliers. Channellocks with White print on handles wipe right off after first day of use. Oh well.
