    Diablo carbide sawzall blades

Just used this blade 9" version to cut out 4" cast iron soil pipe. Cut through 9 sections. Cut like butter down to the last cut. $14 well spent I'd say, and the carbide still looks good.

    LARGE wrenches

TSC has the sizes you need at the price you want. afterthaught, im sure they are raised panel as well, but at just over 10 bux each, you can't go wrong. plus the panel makes the shaft stronger lol

Ok. My 1/2 dw hammerdrill once fitted with a speedbore will not fit have to go up in an angle and then straighten her out once I'm really into the joist.

    Let's see your Leatherman

Some sorta mistake though. Save 10$? More like save 60-70$. Must've gotten the wave and sidekick mixed up. Called down to my local ts and they were cleared out.

    Let's see your Leatherman

I just scored one of the original leathermans off eBay, in near mint condition for 20$!!!. There was only 1 other bidder, I feel like I stole it. Pics to follow when it arrives.

    Anyone else like Channellocks?

Didn't know that...where are they made again? [emoji48] lol I was sold on the channellock brand mainly because of their strong USA roots. The "Fiercely made in Meadville" slogan sells me every time. So it's not a quality issue for me but rather I associate channellock brand with "here". Not...

Hmm...the 420 was made here but as far as the other 2.....not a fan of it if it didn't come out of meadville

I haven't experienced that. As far as quality goes I've been very happy with anything Klein. These Klein's btw are really NWS, made in Germany, and are pretty spiffy.

    pump pliers

Yea when we say slip joint in the northeast were normally talking about the two sizes pliers thing a majigs. But I guess technically water pump pliers would fall under that slip joint category...but if I was asked to grab a pair of slip joints, I wouldn't be reaching for pump pliers.

    pump pliers

Sadly I got them on eBay since my area is deprived of any good tool places. I got these Klein's because they are identical to the nws pliers. They ran me about $40 for the quick adjusts, a little less for the classic.

What's the front to back length of that? Short enough to bore between joists 16 on centers?

General observations about brushed vs brushless tools

I'm pretty sure Panasonic was the first to bring brushless to power tools...saw a commercial not too long ago for conair, and their new brushless hairdryer...isn't it ironic? lol

    The DeWalt Addiction Thread

Honestly I like your model better. The light placement is best under the chuck IMO, and the clutch setup is a time saver, or at the least it isn't annoying. The only reason I went for the 995 is its brushless. For me that's a huge huge huuuge benefit...and my handle is also very sturdy and...

Snap on???.... Didn't get that. But I think my favorite are the Klein's. They're rebadged nws pliers.
