    SK or Armstrong?

I have the SK in 3/8 and 1/2 drive, select sizes. My 1/2 ones use roll pin and there is no play between the socket and the hex like some proto hex bit sockets. I have the half inch drives in 3/8, 1/2, 9/16, and 5/8...chrome hand sockets. I also have an Armstrong 3/8 Dr impact set that I drive w...

What tools do you buy snap-on?

i just baught a snap-on 1/4 socket rail that'll hold six sockets. the rail is machined aluminum and the socket holders are locking and spring released. the springs are a little too strong,as they'll send the socket shooting a good 5' in the air! awesome! best 9$ ive spent in a long time. not to...

    Knipex disappointment

cobras are nice but i prefer alligators for most work. alligators you can adjust your jaws with one hand, the jaw opening on the gators are wider as well.

    SK or Armstrong?

I have and love both. Armstrong tools both when danaher owned them and apex tool group currently, have quality control issues. ive experienced a lot of this with armstrong, from missing sockets in a said set, to hex bit sockets (impact) having the wrong size laser etched on the socket, but the...

How should I tie up my porch build?

It was a good 5 inches lower and I backfilled to bring it to where it is now, said screw it looks good enough. No inspection to worry about, I didn't bother with obtaining a permit for a porch build that's keeping the same footprint as the one I demo'd

How should I tie up my porch build?

Thanks for taking the time guys. I did miscalculate when adding for building material, so, technically I went over "budget". Luckily t111 for the skeletal overhead was accounted for, tongue and groove cedar would be nice. I still have a bunch left over from a few years ago when I covered the...

How should I tie up my porch build?

I agree jives. The boss loves the burning Bush in all it's glory. She likes it's location because people driving by can't really see all. I wanna just hook a chain to it and yank it out of there, fire red leaves and all. We've got plenty of shrubbery on the property, not all in the best of...

How should I tie up my porch build?

Nice deck mopar and yes you answered my question. What stain I'm going to use (or paint) is going to be a headache for me too, I love the natural wood look but not to much the gray after the weathering. Luckily I have til next spring to put anything on the pt, lots of time to pick a stain...

How should I tie up my porch build?

I recently built a "ranch style??" Porch on my home and am down to the finishing touches. I'm constantly looking for inspiration, I really want to make it nice, but also unique. I need elements that speak to my personality. The deck is 36" from grade at its highest point, code here requires...

How can you do this to your car

I would assume you took a pic of the worst case scenario, and if that's the height of the filth then that's not really that bad. I know a lot of good people that have similar interiors. The difference would be they'd probably have the pride and decency to clean it up and make it presentable...
