    Garage Lighting Recomendations

I would think the biggest thing to consider in lighting is the height of the light, there are allot of responses here about the squarefootage of peoples garages and the lights they use, but most have comparatively low ceiling heights. I have 2 garages, one with a 14’ ceiling the other with a...

    These step bits any good?

Step bits are a must have when drilling metal or plastic, I use mine all the time. I've got 6 different styles, but I've had them for so long I don't remember where I bought them. They work great on plastics with the single cutting edge. Some regular bits will break plastic because of the 2...

Bench Grinder: What do you recommend?

I personally like the DeWalt one I have in this pic. I have used it for grinding and polishing. The main reason I bought it was the whole body is heavy steel, not like some of the cheaper ones that have metal wheel covers and a plastic or sheet metal body. It's also has a fairly quiet motor...

    My shop.

Since it's only 17' wide, I'm guessing one in front of the other, and you have to play "Musical Lifts" to get the right car in the right place. Not a bad Idea to be able to get 4 or 5 cars in the space he has.

My Garage / Shop. Still working on it.

You'll have to post a pic of the ceiling when it's done, I want to do something to the 14' ceiling in my shop, but can't decide on what I want. I just received my Eagle Lifts catalog yesterday, now I just need to decide which one I want. I really like this one:

The brand of the door is Ankmar. Since the door is 12' tall they had to special order the boom for the opener, it should be here any day now. I wanted the outside of the door to be clean so I didn't install a lock.

    Pics of my Cobra's den

I actually have 5 cordless drills, a cordless hammer drill, a cordless impact driver, and a cordless torque driver, all 18V DeWalt. :wtf: :bounce: I think I have every 18V tool DeWalt makes accept the grinder. A friend of the family is a Gov't contractor and he bids all his jobs with tools...

    Pics of my Cobra's den

I do love DeWalt 18V tools! :rocker: The jack only has a 3000lb rating, but it works for everything I need it for. And it's low enough to get under my Mustang, but raises high enough to use on the Expedition too.
