    2003 chevy venture p0304

Autolite plugs? I'd put Delco plugs and wires on. No debate. Then see where you're at. But I've got evidence that on high-mileage motors, the injectors do go bad (or clogged). Mine was 140Kish when it happened to me.

    2003 chevy venture p0304

You're doing it wrong. Don't start the engine. Throttle plate wide open, then crank it a few times. Note the reading.

    2003 chevy venture p0304

I have a 2000 Venture & had the same lean code & poor driveability. Wound up being the middle injector for the rear bank....would've liked to change them all, but too expensive.

Separating a tie rod end. How ?

I usually just undo the castle nut a few turns, then a sharp rap with a hammer on the nut is enough to unseat it from the tapered hole...never really ran into a problem on the few I've done...

Used torch setup: what to look for & check out?

I've decided to ditch the BenzOmatic & get a real oxy/acet torch rig. Homeowner use for wrenching on & repairing my rusty rides & such. I plan to find a used setup on craigslist, and will stick with name-brands (Smith, Harris, etc) for the business end of the deal. I know how to look over used...

    12x16 shed - should I pour a foundation?

I did a 12X14 in 2008 and had the slab poured. Like you, I did none of the excavation work. simply put stakes in the ground where I wanted it, a couple of guys with a Bobcat did the rest. Total cost was $1000...so I'd say get a few more quotes on the flatwork....

    Third party car repair warranties

Sorry, no experience here. Never bought one. I have a hard time with "pay me NOW for something that MAY or MAY NOT happen in the future...." But I do carry life insurance....I can pay now for something I know for sure will happen...I just don't know when :)

S10 rear axle bearing: puller advice, please

Thanks for the replys. The truck is a 2WD '99 2.2 motor. I don't know that the bearings are bad - but I'm positive the seals are gone. Figured as long as I was pulling the axle, might as well do the bearing, too. I don't have a welder, so I'll need a slide hammer. Any one in particular...

S10 rear axle bearing: puller advice, please

Long story short, the rear end of my 180K S10 needs a little love. Fluid is leaking out the axle seals, brake spring hardware is rusted & falling off. Going to rebuild the rear brakes, pull the axles & replace the bearings & seals. I don't have tool to remove the bearing. Recommend me one...

Out of tool storage space....rats !

Well, it's happened: I've maxed out my old Crapsman triple high box from 1999 and the KRA2306 I got 2 years ago. I could squeeze out another drawer or two in the C'man; but I'd have similar tools in two different spots. I don't want to do that. So now I'm on the hunt again for another used...
