Seems I might have jinxed things... the weather has been less than good the past week, lol. This week is looking decent though. I'm in Verona, right on the border of Oakmont.

Any progress lately? We've had a far less wet summer so far this year than last in Pittsburgh so I'm sure it's been much more favorable for working on this build!

That front door is incredible! I think most of us on here would be proud to call that their primary residence, that is one massive garage and guest house! Just fantastic.

Really coming along nicely! It takes some imagination to successfully convert a space like this station into a proper living space but from what I have seen you have nailed it. Really looking forward to seeing the living room take shape.

That shop space and the view it will have is incredible. Also, I have to say that the use of a drone in documenting this build really takes this thread to the next level. One of my favorite threads on this site to date.

I'm watching this podcast right now and jumped on here to see if anyone mentioned it. Very cool to see Jack getting some exposure on arguably one of the biggest podcasts out there. Love Joe's podcasts and love Jack's garage!

Not sure if you are a fan of the UK series Grand Designs but IMO this house build would be right at home on that show. Most houses seem to look small when they're at the stage of pouring footings/slabs, but I have to say these pics still give it a pretty sprawling presence. Really looking...

I've considered these a few times. I wish you could order them plain silver/galvanized, black, gray, etc. The green would stick out like a sore thumb in my garage that is completely white, gray and red. Repainting them would be quite a chore also.

Very cool project, that roof really set off the whole structure nicely. Those overhangs give you a lot of covered area on the sides also. Definitely subscribing!

Another vote for Cox guns, I have the one at the link below and it is a really nice unit. I initially bought it for use with 2 part epoxy tubes because they require a lot of force. The only thing I can say negative about it is it's a bit heavy for trim caulking. I prefer a plastic caulking gun...

Wow, that's a huge benefit not having to preheat! I helped my dad repair a table on a Wilton Gearhead 20" drill press and preheating it was a pain, as was cooling it back down slowly. I am going to have to check out that rod and see if I can get some for future use.

That's some impressive repair work on the corner of the table! Very nice job so far.

Wow that's a hell of a work bench! Talk about some wiiiiiiiiide drawers! They remind me of blueprint/flat file cabinets, very well done.

I really like that shelf design, very cool and probably the most efficient use of that angled wall created by the roof pitch. Turning out awesome!
