What comes first; the cart or the table?

Thanks for all the tips and responding to the poll all. I am going to go with the cart first because now that the tank is in the garage I don't like the idea of it just setting on the ground. So the cart build will go first then the table; then the drill press/vise/grinder stand!

What comes first; the cart or the table?

I got a new Millermatic 180 for christmas. I am about to pick up gas and more wire in a few minutes and am wiring up the plug this Saturday. My question is what do you do first; a table or a cart? I have an old c-man bottom box that will serve as drawers for the cart (I am planning on like an...

With tax thats actually a damn good price. I just picked up a Millermatic 180 AS for $840 w/tax, Miller Helmet for $140, 80cuft Tank for $220 and a spool of .30 for $15. So thats $1200 or so. With the price diff between 180 and 211 its a good deal.

What are you looking to do. If its just a home shop and your not taking your welder anywhere then I would say go with a Millermatic 180 for a great MIG welder. I recently purchased one and love it.

    Dimple Dies

I love the look these things give so excuse my dumb question before looking into purchasing but what do you use to make the punch? I have experience with auto versions of this sort of thing on CNC type equipment but at home would you just use a press similar to something from HF?

My Garage - Take 3 (in progress)

I know a lot of people rag on them but I have a kerosene stand alone heater that works wonders in my two car. I can turn it on high; wait an hour and then work in 50-60*F comfort for hours with only the man door cracked and a fan pointed at the ceiling to keep air moving. I have spent 6+ hours...

    Project: Garage-O Rest-O

Yeah I still had the TT when I took that pic; that has now changed to an .:R32. Just bought some black pipe and two fittings then lagged it into the wall and threaded the other one on to hold it. I don't have enough space for like a walking loft but I have bikes over the west side and will...

So I just reread this and you TIG welded the base plate to the bend and then MIG welded the bend all together? I consider myself a decent MIG welder and I have never laid down a bead that looks TIG'd with a MIG welder. Row of nickels with a MIG? I need to look at your welder parameters. Nice!

    Project: Garage-O Rest-O

Nothing that new to report but I did pick up some more pieces for the garage. Got myself a new Millermatic 180 for christmas and auto dark helmet! Got a nice used Milwaukee *********** band saw off CL and ordered up a Swag kit for that. Also I picked up 4 garageworks welded 30x30 cabinets on...

    Mice in toolbox

So up until this past summer I had a small C-man top box that I just left on the garage floor tucked back behind my larger box and never used it. I left in the drawer liner and screwdriver foam. So when I brought it out I was not surprised to find that a mouse nest existed. I killed the three...

Picked up a nice garage sale score. 12 speed drill press and he threw in some free halogens that were setting next to it. I will get it permanently mounted at a later date. All that for $75! Hopefully I will have some better updates in the near future. I have to get things wrapped up...
