Where did you find this plan? This looks a lot like what I would like to build and the foundation is certainly less work than what I was planning on doing which was clearing an entire 12x12 section 4" deep, leveling and filling with 4" of sand.

I am really like the cabinet; I am going to be building something similar in the near future. Also that air system looks trick; I am going to have to look into that since I also am not a fan of sweating pipe and my usage sounds similar to yours.

Awesome garage. I love the skylights; do you feel they add a decent amount of light to justify the cost? I have them in my home over the living room and would love to put a couple in the garage as it is a south facing roof that would get sun 80% of the day.
