    Industrial Metal Desks

I recently picked up a Globe Wernicke 3M-T55 table cheap. Planning to use it as a light assembly table in my already crowded basement. The top is stained alot, but the metal is good after light cleaning. The legs come apart easy, but are surprisingly sturdy.

Metal Cabinets vintage or homemade and no name toolboxes. got any to show please do

Hey Drives: the cabinet I just got is around 51"h x 25"d x 20" w. The small drawers are just under 1-1/2" deep, I wish they were just a bit taller. Still noodlin' about how to use them. And I want to find a yellow or gold like this is, kinda like some of the old tanker desks. thanks.

Metal Cabinets vintage or homemade and no name toolboxes. got any to show please do

I picked this up recently. Don't know the mfr. I plan to use it for small parts storage, though I wish it a few more of the mid-size drawers and fewer of the tiny ones. The smaller drawers are just slide in, the bottom one has rollers. But the price was right. And once I cleaned off the 10...

    The Ratchet Collection Thread

I picked this up a few weeks ago, $1. I assume is a Craftsman, but with the logos wore off / ground off. It was very difficult to rotate the head, but after opening it up and removing all the peanut butter (!!) it works smoothly again. .

I went through my "extra" sockets from the various garage sale finds, does anyone want/need any of these? Just cover shipping, and maybe 1 beer. I can get better pics if needed. .

LS STARRETT CO (and not a vise)

found this recently at garage sale for $2. Was just looking for a good straightedge, was surprised when I cleaned off the grease and gunk that it was a Starrett. And I have not seen that mark before, just "Starrett".

    Show your "Long C" Craftsman!

Thanks LS. Really the handle is not too bad, compared to more modern ones. Just not as elegant as the early 1900s Thanks

    "Pre-Block" Grinders--Where's the Love?

Oh yes, TMan, I will replace. I just had noticed the crown logo, that is all. The price seems a bit high for that time period though, at least to me. Thanks for reply.

    "Pre-Block" Grinders--Where's the Love?

wondering how old this grinding wheel is that was on the grinder I just got (referenced above)? It did not have much use on it. .

    "Pre-Block" Grinders--Where's the Love?

Thanks for the replies exmaxima1 and macgee, you may have convinced me. I got anxious on this one after seeing jerryd67's restoration earlier this year. I am soaking the end castings in mild soap now, we'll see how they look cleaned up. I do want to paint the center section and eye shield...

    "Pre-Block" Grinders--Where's the Love?

I picked up this 1/4 HP unit recently, for $12. I think need to replace the bearings, they spin forever on wind down, and sound/feel a bit gravely (??). I asked Matt to do a label, and he said this version is new for him, so he would have to go through the whole process. Does anyone else want...
