    All you need is a 40 amp breaker and run #8 wire this is not a true 5 HP you have and since you have a double 30 amp in there you can try it, it may work for you and if it trips it then go get a 40 amp

    15 amps so it is a 3 HP motor you can use a plug on it fine I have that on my small compressor I run 12/2 with a 20 amp breaker and have a 20 amp twist lock outlet and plug it in

    I have some proto impact sockets that have a 5/8 drive and the 1/2 to 5/8 adapter for them they look like 3/4 if you look quick. They were my fathers and I remember them when I was still wet behind the ears

    I use a respirator with goggles and wrap a towel around my head but I only sand blast maybe once or twice a year

    I would prime it to cover it good then if you want to have a better finish you can lightly sand it with 280-320 then 2 coats of paint should be good

    It would be about as cheap to buy a new unit than to find a tank that would work for you. Some rusty looking water is common, just keep it drained after you use it and it will work for a long time
