    3/8 torque wrench recommendations

The Precision Instruments split beams are fantastic. I have a 3/8 and 1/2 that are both over 5 years old and they have never gone out of calibration. That said. They are slightly bulky but durable as all he!!. Techangle wrenches are also fantastic. I purchased my last one used from a pawnshop...

    Decent Screwdriver Set

I have an SK set that is about 20 years old and the tips look darn near brand new. I do baby them. I think Vessel screwdrivers are a must if you work on anything Japanese.

Time to buy a new tire inflator

My 20 year old napa tire inflator with gauge gave up the ghost and napa no longer has replacement parts for it. I purchased a Rhino brand unit to replace it and it was total junk. That said, I have narrowed down to two brands that seem to be reputable. Lonacre and Milton industries. Any...

Looking for a 3/8 Flex head soft grip ratchet

I ended up with the Carlyle 3/8 flex head. I have to say for $50 its nice. No slop in any way whatsoever. Back drag could be a little better. I need to take it apart and drop a glob of grease in it. HOW DO I TAKE THIS THING APART? Those wondering why I didn't just buy a snap on? I will...

Looking for a 3/8 Flex head soft grip ratchet

I'm looking for a 3/8 flex head ratchet with a "grip" type handle. I just spent my tool allowance on a snap on 1/4 flex so I only have about $50 left to spend. The only thing I found so far that fills the bill is the Carlyle flex head from Napa I know nothing about the carlyle brand. Are...

Any other brand suggestions? I see Capri makes a set similar. Would like to stay away from china made. Taiwan is fine. Can't afford US steel at the moment.

    Flare nut Line wrenches

I soaked the fitting in repeated sessions of applying kroil. Using a snap on crows foot, the connection easily broke free. Excited, I went to put on the new hose on and to my dismay it would not fit. The hose has a bracket that connects to the strut. When I connect it, I would have to twist...
