    Flare nut Line wrenches

I'm trying to salvage the hard line and replace the rubber part at the calipers if I can get away with it. Not enough room to cut it.

    Flare nut Line wrenches

I am working on restoring a salt belt car for my son and need to change all the brake lines. I am in need of some good flare nut wrenches. I have a set of gear wrench flare nut wrenches but they do not fit the fasteners well, expand and slip. I see that Mac, SK, Snap on and Wright all have...

Looking for a decent compression tester.

I need to buy a compression tester kit for my cars and it would be a bonus if I could test motorcycles and other small engines. Any recommendations? I had the HF kit. It lasted about three years, doesn't work anymore. Would be willing to pay a little extra for something quality.

Help me finally pick a obd scanner

I've got it down to two units Autel MX808 and the LAUNCH 301050458 GEAR SCAN PLUS. They look as if they are very close in functionality and price. Am I missing something in comparison in the two?

    Are SAE tools dead?

I bought all new snap on sae 1/4, 3/8 1/2 deep and standards socket sets about five years ago. I may have only used one or two of them. I regret the $$$ I put down. If I could go back, I would have just bought a set of sunex 3/8 deep impacts.

    Torque wrenches

I have a few torque wrenches I have never used. The Masterforce is new in box, the other two are in cases, just never used. Figured I have about 15 torque wrenches so I need to make some room. Would trade for a metric set of torque adapters such as the cornwell CTG102MTAS. Lindstrom MAL500-1...

What tools to keep, what to sell?

When the 2008 flood came through in Cedar Rapids you couldn't buy a chainsaw or generator, or table saw within 100 miles. Bought a chainsaw and generator once the stores were stocked. That was over ten years ago and I have not used them to this day.

    Torque wrench delima

Went back and got it. Wrench had all the paper work in the box. Box was filthy but the wrench did not have any wear at all. Also found an OTC bearing puller kit for $15 that looks to never have been used. Good tool day I guess.

    Torque wrench delima

I'm needing a 3/8 electronic torque wrench to get into some blind spots and my snappy clicker is just not doing it for me. I was thinking of getting the masterforce 3/8 digital wrench or I found a snap on atech2fr100a for $75 used in good looking shape but have no idea if it's in spec. Thoughts?

The left hand stuff is new to me and i' not sure what takes it. Since I have three teenagers getting cars this year, I feel like I need to stockpile some tools in order to keep cars running (before I get the insurance bill?) On a side note, I was out of town and my wife's car had a brake pad...
