Ideas for bulding a 32x60 into a hill? Has anyone done this?

Never really worried about draining. I guess at a minimum I would make sure the floor was coated with something to prevent damage and let it evaporate. if there is that much water just squeegee it out the doors and not look back. (could always do a linoleum floor) Currently my SXS is parked in...

Ideas for bulding a 32x60 into a hill? Has anyone done this?

I have a similar situation. My thoughts were to dig out the hill, put up masonry wall and backfill against it. That would then give me a great drive in upstairs to park sled and UTV. Removal of the dirt will vary greatly. I would expect $3500. but I could be way off not knowing all the...

Recommend a good used tractor for plowing

I have used plenty of GARDEN tractors. not lawn tractor. They work very well if you have a good one. Your best bet is the older ones. Don't be fooled by the horsepower rating. a 10 hp from the 60's was 10 Clydesdales. a 10 hp of today is 10 my little ponies. I have 2 1960's vintage cub cadets...

    Garage Build Advice

If I understand you right, you are just going to use joists to continue the roof slope to create the patio roof? Nothing wrong with that. You can do it just the way you described it. It is going to be a lot of cutting. In the end you could just go that extra width and make it all shop. Add a...

Plasma cutters Hypertherm, Thermal Dynamics (Victor), Miller, Hobart, and so on

I have a miller 375X. love it works great rated to cut 3/8 I have cut rear brake rotors from cars which are about 1/2" thick. Lift modification question

May be a good idea to extend both ends of it to keep the truck centered on the lift. Also make for shorter extensions with less leverage.

Do you know what gage the steel is? That is usually one of the biggest factors. The surface treatment is the next biggest factor. Did the box stores miss something on the takeoff?

New AWF Polyurea Floor Coating by Garageflooring LLC

Is it possible to go over this flooring again? I do a lot of steel fabrication. Needless to say I have not found a floor that hold up to weld spatter. If I spend a lot of time and money on a floor it be nice to be able to recoat it after it starts to look bad. I would not use the color chips...
